What's your favorite full name for Annie?

I’ve been crushing on [name_f]Annie[/name_f] again, and as I was thinking of which full name I like best, it has me wondering which full name you all prefer. I’m leaning toward [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] (almost like a double-barrel), maybe with a floral second middle. I’ve liked [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], [name_f]Annika[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophie[/name_f], etc. in the past, but none of them really seems to stick. I think [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is my second choice. (For now, anyhow.)

Anyway. What’s your favorite full name for [name_f]Annie[/name_f]?

My favorites would be [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]. [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is pretty as well.

[name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] or [name_f]Annalea[/name_f]

[name_f]Anouk[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. My favorite full names are:

[name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Annalie[/name_f]

For a long time I really couldn’t think of a more perfect name than [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. After loving it for years I think I’m starting to lean more towards her simpler forms of just [name_f]Anne[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] (I’ve never liked the [name_f]Ann[/name_f] version). I keep going back and forth on it but [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is a strong contender for our first baby girl. I also happen to love the double barrel name [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f]. It is literally the only double barrel name I like but I think that it’s elegant and not overpowering probably because both names alone are pretty common and on the shorter side. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps

I feel like such an idiot! I have been crushing on [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] for a very long time–why did I not think of [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f]?! I must be daft.

@cyoung - the same! I used to have [name_f]Annabel/name_f nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] on my list for a long time, and for a while there it was [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but neither of them are really doing it for me, and I can’t imagine committing to either Annelies(e) or [name_f]Annika[/name_f], even though I like them objectively (a lot. I just don’t have a personal I-adore-you-and-you-make-me-swoon sort of reaction, like I do with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Adele[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f]). I like hyphenated [name_m]French[/name_m] double-barrels, but I never seem to commit to them, and [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is generally a bit too simple/classic for me (although I like it a lot, and I love how dainty and lacy the [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling is, as opposed to just [name_f]Ann[/name_f]). I wish I could see [name_f]Anna[/name_f]'s appeal, because she really is gorgeous–I just find her a tad boring still, personally.

I love the name [name_f]Annie[/name_f] - My favorite full name is definitely [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Annika[/name_f] and [name_f]Annette[/name_f] are also on my list.

[name_f]Ana[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] w/nn [name_f]Ani[/name_f]

My aunt is named An@st@si@ and goes by [name_f]Annie[/name_f], and I’ve always liked her name. There was another name on my list a while back that I had the nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] for but I can’t remember it now. I’ll let you know if I remember. I think [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is pretty, as is [name_f]Ana[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I think I like [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] best off your list.

I have [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] on my short list, but other than that, I like:

[name_f]Annika[/name_f]
[name_f]Ania[/name_f]/[name_f]Anja[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] - though I prefer the nn [name_f]Liesl[/name_f] for her
[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] - thanks to [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]
[name_f]Angelina[/name_f] - my mn, I got called [name_f]Anna[/name_f] in the past so I think this one works too
[name_f]Annora[/name_f]

And oh, in case you haven’t thought about it, you can definitely use [name_f]Annie[/name_f] as an occasional nickname for your [name_f]Arianne[/name_f].

[name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_u]Madison[/name_u] is cute but not very common, I don’t know if you like that.

I like [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Annamarie[/name_f], Annalicia (pronounced either ann-uh-lees-ee-uh or ann-uh-leesh-uh), [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] (I feel like a girl named [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] would always get associations with the horror movie), [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Anamaria[/name_f], Anisabel, etc.

[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] used to be in my top 5 - I love the nicknames [name_f]Anna[/name_f] & [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. It’s the perfect name for any age.

Either:

[name_f]Annika[/name_f]
[name_f]Anouk[/name_f]
[name_f]Ana[/name_f]ïs
[name_f]Annelie[/name_f]

NOTE: [name_f]Annika[/name_f] and [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] are technically nicknames for [name_f]Anna[/name_f] themselves, though they are frequently used by themselves.

[i]My favorite is the simple [name_f]Anne[/name_f] .

I also love [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] with the adorable nickname [name_f]Annie[/name_f] .[/i]

I love [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nicknamed [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] and [name_f]Anais[/name_f] are also lovely.

[name_f]Anwen[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]

[name_f]Anouk[/name_f] and [name_f]Annika[/name_f]

[name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] is my favorite. I also like [name_f]Antonia[/name_f], [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Antigone[/name_f].

[name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] or [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] would be my favourite for the nickname [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], but I prefer the nn [name_f]Belle[/name_f]/[name_f]Bella[/name_f] for that.
