What's your favorite name that was already popular among your own generation?

Let’s say quite popular, within or at least close to the top 25 where you live.

You can only pick one! and make a combo

Mine would be [name_f]Chloe[/name_f].

It makes me think of the ballet, the color pink - really love it!

Today I’d do [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].

(I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] even more but it wasn’t really that popular when I was born, it was rising but only became popular a few years later).

i love hannah!! it’s incredibly popular in my generation, i know so many my age. i’d go with hannah ruth :yellow_heart:

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Xanthippe[/name_f].

I’ve always thought [name_f]Emily[/name_f] was a pretty name! I think I’d go with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] :ribbon:

I always liked [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]! But realistically I’d use [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] since it’s a bit more timeless.

I absolutely love Charlotte; I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a pretty little combo :ribbon:

[name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. I’d do [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and use both names as a double name. Maybe Sarah-Jane [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f] or Sarah-Jane [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] if I wanted to add another middle.

For me it’s [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]! I sadly wouldn’t use it irl because of a negative association I have, but it is definitely a guilty pleasure that was super popular for my generation.
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] has such a beautiful and unique sound to it, and she feels so bookish, wintry, and soft. I would go with [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f] or [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f] as full combos, or possibly even [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f]

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] was a combo I loved a lot!!

[name_u]Loving[/name_u] all the [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] love here! It makes me so happy as one myself :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is so popular here… I’m thinking [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]!

I would easily name a kid so many of the names popular around when I was born, but for the most distinct to the time period I’d have to go with [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]! Warm and friendly and honestly I think she fits with my list. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] or [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] for something natural and fun!

Runners up would be [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], and [name_u]Lauren[/name_u]!

eta: a combo - sophie talia :art:

I think I’d go with [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Cerelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]!

I would choose [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], I think.

I’d choose [name_u]Lauren[/name_u]! I’d pair it with a middle that’s less popular and a bit more feminine, but still sleek, like [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] or [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] (or maybe [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] Ofelia!)
