I think it’s sweet and unique. I really like it!
Hmmm I feel kinda neutral. I don’t love it. But at the same time I don’t dislike it. It kind of reminds me of [name_u]Canyon[/name_u]. It’s definitely unique so I can see a potential for initial confusion when meeting people. I’d prefer it as a middle name.
I really like it! The [name_m]Banyan[/name_m] tree is so cool and it’s a such a unique nature name.
I really like [name_m]Banyan[/name_m], but I feel it still has such a strong association with [name_f]India[/name_f]/South [name_f]Asia[/name_f] or Southeast [name_f]Asia[/name_f] that I definitely think it would be out of place on a child who didn’t have roots in those places. Regardless, it is very nice 
It’s not exactly to my taste, but I can see the appeal. I like that it has a nature connection, that’s nice. To me, the sound is a bit too much like a combination of [name_f]Banana[/name_f] and [name_u]Canyon[/name_u] though.
Sounds very made up to me, plus I immediately thought of bunion.

i personally do not like the name but it is unique and if you like it Go For It
I do! I love tree names for males.
It wouldn’t be my first choice of tree names ([name_u]Cedar[/name_u], [name_u]Elm[/name_u], [name_u]Pine[/name_u], [name_u]Spruce[/name_u], [name_u]Birch[/name_u], [name_u]Oak[/name_u], [name_u]Linden[/name_u] pop to mind), but I like it.
[name_u]Strong[/name_u] tree and strong name.
