So I’ve always wondered how a name got onto nameberry. You see, I love the name Halstead but its not on the NB website, like if i was type [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] in, you can click on it amd it takes you to a page.
When does a name get put on to NB as an actual name? Im sorry if that didn’t make sense.
Unfortunately, I think only the website owners have the authority to add names to the database.
You can try to make an appeal over on the What Names Have We Missed thread, but there’s no guarantee that the request will be considered.
Alternatively, you can try submitting a page over on Behindthename. They’re generally good about considering user submitted names, and plus they’re generally more accurate and thorough in their research.
Halstead isn’t recognised as a name (it’s just in surname territory as far as I’m aware) so that’s why it probably hasn’t made its way on there.
