Anyways… I’m still looking for middle names for [name_u]August[/name_u] & [name_u]Everest[/name_u]. My husband really likes [name_m]Nils[/name_m], [name_m]Milo[/name_m] (Me-lo), [name_m]Leon[/name_m], [name_u]Asa[/name_u], [name_u]Beau[/name_u] & [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. He is not against [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], [name_m]Gaspard[/name_m], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_u]Carter[/name_u], [name_u]Orion[/name_u], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Ulysse[/name_m], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], but they are not his favorites. I thought [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] was super cute but maybe it’s still not the one.
I came up with:
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] or [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. Which one do you prefer? Which one flows better?

About [name_u]Everest[/name_u], my heart was set on [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] / [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u], but DH can’t image his son being a [name_u]Grey[/name_u], sadly. I thought of [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] or [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Leon[/name_m] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] instead. What do you think?

I live the bouncy, choppy flow of this and the alliteration (visual if not audible) of [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] doesn’t sound bad but just doesn’t flow as well or sound as fun to me.
I’m not too keen on [name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] together in these next combos - the vowel sounds are s bit too repetitive for me. If I had to pick, [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] sounds better to me.
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] is great! Or how about the Nordic name [name_m]Frey[/name_m] in place of [name_u]Grey[/name_u], since your husband likes [name_m]Nils[/name_m]: [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] [name_m]Frey[/name_m]?
Interestingly enough, I had a similar thing happen to me a few hours ago. It wasn’t a thread I started, but one I was replying to in the Girls forum and when I tried to submit my response I got the same things you did, “no thread specified”.
I’m in indecision between [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. I do agree that [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] has a more lilting, fun feel to it whereas [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] feels a little more complete and settled. I think if I had to choose between them, [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] would come ahead just slightly.
I am also not so fond of [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] together, however I do prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] of the two combos. The way the syllables flow gives it a bit of the same fun and quirky vibe of [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u].
I really love [name_u]Everest[/name_u], it is so lovely see someone serious about using it! It is too bad abput [name_u]Grey[/name_u], because [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is so handsome. I really love [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] with [name_u]Everest[/name_u]. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_m]Leon[/name_m] are fine with [name_u]Everest[/name_u], I prefer [name_m]Leon[/name_m] ever so slightly. [name_m]Gaspard[/name_m] could potentially be the fourth name of one of our children. I’m [name_m]French[/name_m], DH is American and we live in [name_f]France[/name_f] now. It’s common in my country to give several middle names. I wanted to pick a [name_m]French[/name_m] middle name to show my origins, and [name_m]Gaspard[/name_m] seems to be one of my favorites among the ones DH likes. Our son would probably never use it, but at least it would be on his birth certificate.
We don’t really have a specific spot for a specific name to be honest, and I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the idea of [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u]! The only problem I can think of:
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] and [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] are rare and bold, and then we were leaning towards a “simple” middle name in case our son doesn’t like his first name (in [name_f]France[/name_f], we can only change our first name by one of our middle names, we can’t pick another random name). [name_u]Beau[/name_u] being a common word and not a name in my country, he could probably not use it as a first name. He would be stuck with 2 rare/bold names and a common word that would probably be unwearable in [name_f]France[/name_f]. Isn’t it too much? Now, what is the probability that my son doesn’t like his name? I don’t really know!
