Which 80/90s gem?

After going round and round looking for something that fits with our nightmare surname, we’ve landed between two compromise names I wasn’t expecting. I knew a bunch growing up!

Which would you go for?

  • Sophie
  • Rebecca

[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] is beautiful!

[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] gets my vote, but you can’t go wrong with either! I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] a lot too.

I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] better

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f], I prefer the sound but because I’m not keen on Becky/Becks, which I think a [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] would inevitably become once she hit high school

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] sounds softer to me. It is a bit more common though because of all the Sophia’s running around, so be prepared for that.

I love both, but voted for [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]! She’s so timeless and sweet. and btw… [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] would be adorable

I love both but [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] has always had a soft spot in my heart.

Agh! I love both so much! [name_f]My[/name_f] older sister’s name is [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and my daughters name is [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] so it was a difficult choice for sure :joy: :grimacing: ( I went with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] though)

I love the sleek and pretty [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]

[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] doesn’t have to go by [name_f]Becky[/name_f] - I am a [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and never once have been called [name_f]Becky[/name_f]. People will try, but I correct them because that is NOT my name. I go by [name_f]Becca[/name_f], which has a different feel.
