Surprise [name_f]April[/name_f] baby but we really need time to sit with a name for a bit before we pick. Big sister is N.ina M.ay and potentially our boy choice is [name_m]Eli[/name_m]/jah [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] ([name_m]Zeke[/name_m]).
I love [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. Classic and underused. I also love [name_f]Rose[/name_f], it´s so elegant. Both of these would be good choices. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] are all very sweet. I love [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]!
My favourite from your list would be [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]! It fits beautifully with big sister’s name, especially with nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]!
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] would be amazing!
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] would be sweet also. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] are both stunning, vintage and charming.*
I just want to second, maybe third the vote for [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]. As pp have mentioned, an underused beautiful and [name_u]Ollie[/name_u], both honorable and sweet, really adds to her beauty here. It also fits as a perfect sister for N,ina.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] would also be a lovely sister too, but don’t have the same spark as [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] did.
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] ([name_f]Cece[/name_f])-This is good & goes well w/your daughter’s name. It’s fairly well known yet not over done, & is sophisticated enough to grow up well. I don’t personally love [name_f]Cece[/name_f], but it’s really just because I kind of hear it a lot. Mostly for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f]-You know, I like this a lot. It’s spunky & charming, but also kind of homey. Are in the U.S.? It’s very associated w/the syrup here…if you’re not though then go for it!
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] ([name_f]Ellie[/name_f])-I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! It’s one of my top favorites too. I prefer the nn [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], but [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is cute & better w/your [name_f]Nina[/name_f].
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]-This is nice enough. It doesn’t sparkle , but it’s fine.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]/ie- I love the bold, classic eleganance of [name_f]Rose[/name_f], & [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is so cheery & fun.
I really see your problem picking. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is my personal favorite, but I kind of like [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] w/[name_f]Nina[/name_f]. You really can’t go wrong w/any them. Maybe take them to the hospital, & if it’s a girl let you tell her name.
[name_f]Nina[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is so sweet! I would use [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] as it sounds a bit frumpy with [name_f]Nina[/name_f], same with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/ Although [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] would pair nicely with [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a nn.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is nice, but I think your best choice would be [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Lydie[/name_f]) or [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] CC)I feel that [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] sounds god with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], or [name_f]Kate[/name_f], as well with [name_f]Ellen[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] the best. I would not use [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] as a middle but [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] would be beautiful as a middle, but is only sounds balanced with [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] or [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Kaitlin[/name_f].
When paired with your first daughter [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] seems most likely with [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as a close second.
Thank you all for your inputs. Some lovely combinations there. We’re in Australia so I’m not sure of some of the cultural connotations with [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] but it’s probably my husbands least favourite here. Looks like [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] maybe our new favourite. Now to work on a boys name …
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] are both just gorgeous with N.ina M.ay! [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is sweet but I adore [name_f]Nell[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and I think [name_f]Nina[/name_f] and [name_f]Nell[/name_f] are sweet together. I also like [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] but somehow it doesn’t fit with [name_f]Nina[/name_f] quite as well as [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] in my opinion. I also think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] nn [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] is a great idea too as a way to honour your mum. I was actually pushing for this for my own daughter.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is my favourite, it’s elegant, feminine and vintage - but not in a clunky or old-fashioned way! So beautiful. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] work well, but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] flows the best imo.
