I love the name [name_f]Anna[/name_f], but only when it’s pronounced [name_f]ANN[/name_f]-ah. It’s such a simple, pretty, classic name! The nickname [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is also super cute.
They’re both lovely! [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] sounds very vintage and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] sounds classic.
I like the name [name_u]June[/name_u] but my favorite of these two combos would be [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] sounds a little bit nasally when I say it (?) because of the closer repetition of the “n” consonant. Whereas [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] has the soft “[name_m]Joseph[/name_m]” before the second “n”…all that to explain I just prefer the way it sounds - plus, it reminds me of [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Alcott[/name_u]. Classic yet spunky.
I love [name_f]Anna[/name_f]! She’s one of my favourites thanks to a character. Short and sweet, but with some feistiness and passion too. I prefer [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], because I like a longer middle with [name_f]Anna[/name_f], and it separates the ‘n’ sounds more than with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u].
Also in the [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] camp. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] sounds like a southern double name to me.
That’s my main hesistation with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]. I love the sunny, happy, lively imagery [name_u]June[/name_u] gives me and I think [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is sweet but I wonder if it’s too sweet and too southern!
I’m usually not a fan of traditional names, but [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is a name I’ve always loved. It has such a soft and sweet feel to it!
On their own, I prefer [name_u]June[/name_u] over [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], though both are beautiful! But I think [name_u]June[/name_u] is too short of a name paired with [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is so classic and elegant, and flows nicely.
Another vote for [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! I think the two names balance each other well. With [name_u]June[/name_u], the n’s are a little too close and while I love [name_u]June[/name_u] on its own, I’m not sure that it stands up to such an established classic in the second spot.
I love, love, love [name_f]Anna[/name_f]! Super gorgeous and versatile
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is my pick. It is light and bright, but has some weight to it as well. If you are worried about it being too short, maybe [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f]? Personally, though, I think [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is stunning!
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] sounds so beautiful, maybe even [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_f]Josephina[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] reasonably well. I go between finding it fairly boring and not noteworthy to thinking she’s sweet, charming, feminine, and timeless. I do admit to preferring [name_f]Annabel/name_f, [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Louise[/name_f]/[name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Claire[/name_f]/[name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophia[/name_f], etc., to just [name_f]Anna[/name_f], not to mention the nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but sometimes I do think [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is pretty great! I especially like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] when it’s a double barrel like [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophia[/name_f], or when it’s paired with an unusual MN, like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f] Xanthippe, or [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Noemi[/name_f].
Of the two combos you have, I prefer [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].
I love the name [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and much prefer your pronunciation. It was actually a front runner for our daughter. I think [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] has a much nicer flow and I don’t like how N heavy [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is.
Thank you all for your input! Looks like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is the crowd favorite I still love [name_u]June[/name_u] but I think I’ll save it for another combo
