I’ve never read the series, so I really have no personalities to attach to the names, but based on the names themselves, I like [name_u]Owen[/name_u] the best. I love its simple, handsome, quiet, understated, rugged Gaelic masculinity. [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] would have been my second favorite–I love the Biblical character, and I’ve just always liked [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]. I also love the nns [name_m]Matt[/name_m]/[name_u]Matty[/name_u]. I think it’s so sweet and classic, and the idea of a little boy named [name_u]Matty[/name_u] is just adorable to me. 
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] & [name_m]Walter[/name_m] are my absolute favorites, maybe because I adore the characters, but LM gave them great names.
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] is an irresistible name to me and [name_m]Walter[/name_m] is soft yet strong like the character.
I voted for [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] because I love the character. Plus, I think [name_m]Gil[/name_m] is a great nickname!
Swoon… I love AGG! I chose [name_u]Jem[/name_u], but I also love [name_m]Walter[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Walt[/name_m] is an adorable name for a little one.
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] is such a bright and charming name and I love the way it sounds. I’m fond of the character too.
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m]!! I loved the name from the first time I saw it in the book. And then I fell in love with it even more because of his character. And on top of that [name_m]Gil[/name_m] is a good nickname for all ages.

[name_m]Walter[/name_m]! He’s sensitive, dreamy, romantic, a poet… he’s one of my favourite characters in the series in general. I also love (the name) [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] but because of [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] Branagh, not [name_f]Anne[/name_f] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables, haha. Can’t even remember which character that is… [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] is a great character too but not fond of his name.
[name_u]Jem[/name_u]. Not really because of the character, even though he was one of my favorites. I really like the name : ) And ironically, I’m finishing the ninth book right now (for like the fourth time haha)
I love, love, love [name_u]Jem[/name_u]! And there is a [name_u]Jem[/name_u] in To Kill a Mickingbird. I would have used it in a heartbeat if I could have gotten my husband on board.

I chose [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] because I adore the nickname [name_m]Gil[/name_m], and he is such a great character (although he kind of fades into the background in the later books)!
But I also really like [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] (such a handsome classic), [name_u]Jem[/name_u] (oh so dashing and a darling nickname for [name_u]James[/name_u]!), and [name_m]Walter[/name_m].
@chrisco- Oh, I totally forgot there was a ninth book! I’ve read the eight “original” ones at least like twice each (and some of them probably like ten times), bought the ninth but my to-read list is forever growing (faster than I can complete a book) and thus it’d be impossible to read everything on it.
