I voted for [name]Evelyn[/name] because I think it’s lovely and [name]Evie[/name] is a super cute nickname, but I like your other choices too!

Thank you! We have had a mixed response from family so would like some other opinions!

1 [name]Lilith[/name] - unusual Biblical name. Please do not use a random “y” in the spelling.
2 [name]Evelyn[/name] - pretty and feminine
3 [name]Maya[/name] - soft and sweet
4 [name]Ophelia[/name] - not my favourite Shakespearean name and some people hear future teasing with the phrase “oh feel yah”.

I adore [name]Ophelia[/name], [name]Maya[/name], and [name]Lilith[/name]. Not keen on [name]Evelyn[/name] at all, though I’m definitely in the minority.

Thank you everyone for your responses so far! Also do you have any middle name ideas that you think would go with any of these names

[name]Ophelia[/name]- I just don’t care for the sound, and it’s not like [name]Ophelia[/name] from [name]Hamlet[/name] is the greatest namesake.
[name]Maya[/name]- I voted for this. It’s simple, works in many different cultures, and very pretty sounding. I personally prefer the spelling [name]Maia[/name] myself. The one downside for me would be its popularity.
[name]Lilith[/name]- I like the sound of this name, but she has a very. . . interesting story in Jewish folklore that you may wish to look up.
[name]Evelyn[/name]- Not really my style, but there’s nothing wrong with it.

Middle names? For [name]Evelyn[/name] I’d go with one syllable names, such as [name]Rae[/name], [name]Mae[/name], [name]Ruth[/name], [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Joy[/name], [name]Wren[/name], [name]June[/name], [name]Shay[/name], [name]Faye[/name], etc.
For [name]Lilith[/name] I’d avoid other biblical names and I’d definitely avoid any more “l” sounds. [name]How[/name] about [name]Carmen[/name], [name]Roxanne[/name], [name]Rhea[/name], [name]Christine[/name], [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Vivian[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], etc.
For [name]Maya[/name] I’d pick a more old fashioned name to balance out the modern sound of [name]Maya[/name]. Such as [name]Rosalind[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], [name]Helen[/name], [name]Amelia[/name] ([name]Maya[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] kinda sounds like a character from a children’s book!), [name]Alice[/name], [name]Clara[/name], etc.
For [name]Ophelia[/name] I’d again go with short names, like the ones for [name]Evelyn[/name].
