[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I just wanted to get an idea on everyone impressions on the boy name Perry & Brett & whether you like/dislike them & why
Which name do you prefer most
I prefer [name_u]Perry[/name_u]! It’s sweet and friendly but also cool and fresh.
I prefer [name_u]Brett[/name_u]. I like that it’s tailored and has a preppy feel. I think many nicknames work as full names, but [name_u]Perry[/name_u] isn’t one of them imo.
Definitely [name_u]Perry[/name_u]! [name_u]Brett[/name_u] is not my favorite, it gives me a bit of frat boy vibes (probably because of the Bretts I know), similar to [name_m]Brad[/name_m]. [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is so sweet and I rarely see it used!
I prefer [name_u]Brett[/name_u], mainly because the name [name_u]Perry[/name_u] reminds me of this animal from a cartoon that the kids I babysit watch lol. I think [name_u]Perry[/name_u] could be a cute nn.
I like [name_u]Perry[/name_u]- sweet, warm and lovely
Brett is quite nice - sharp and quick
Brett. Seems more complete to me
Brett. I know [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is surnames and surnames can be first names and all but all Incan think of is [name_m]Matt[/name_m] [name_u]Perry[/name_u] and friends with [name_u]Perry[/name_u].
I think [name_u]Perry[/name_u] the Platypus is actually a perk!
I think both are cute and refreshing because they are familiar but not overused.
These names are so different in my minds, it’s almost weird to compare them!
Perry seems very cheeky and energetic. I’ve never met a [name_u]Perry[/name_u] in real life so it feels quite unusual to me. I prefer [name_u]Perry[/name_u] to [name_u]Brett[/name_u], which feels like an overly talkative bro or a western cowboy. [name_u]Brett[/name_u] feels a little dated to me, like someone who grew up in the 90s rather than a new baby.
I love [name_u]Perry[/name_u], and like [name_u]Brett[/name_u]. Nothing wrong with either, but [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is much more my style. I’m not a fan of “nickname names” generally, but [name_u]Perry[/name_u] works for me as a stand-alone.
I like [name_u]Perry[/name_u] although I know a few people with it as a last name. Its nice though.
In theory I would like [name_u]Brett[/name_u] - its preppy and balanced but I know a [name_u]Brett[/name_u] that I dont care for so its badly associated for me. I like [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] or other similar names.
I prefer [name_u]Perry[/name_u] because it seems like an open and friendly name, plus very approachable.
[name_u]Brett[/name_u] is okay, but a bit choppy and frat-boy-like.
I don’t really care much for either. [name_u]Perry[/name_u] just reminds me of [name_u]Perry[/name_u] the platypus, and [name_u]Brett[/name_u] feels like a jock name. I prefer [name_u]Brett[/name_u] though.
I agree with this, if I had to choose probably [name_u]Perry[/name_u].
I prefer [name_u]Perry[/name_u] although both are nice. [name_u]Brett[/name_u] was very popular a while back so I feel like it is tied to a certain time, whereas I don’t think [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is. Maybe hold onto both until you meet this little man?
I’d have to say [name_u]Perry[/name_u]- [name_u]Brett[/name_u] feels kind of obnoxious to me, no offense.
I like [name_u]Perry[/name_u] over [name_u]Brett[/name_u]. [name_u]Brett[/name_u] feels like a frat boy name to me. [name_u]Perry[/name_u] sounds like a hipster cool guy name.
Love [name_u]Perry[/name_u], dislike [name_u]Brett[/name_u].
Perry is a family name on my paternal grandmother’s side. I love [name_u]Perry[/name_u] [name_u]Como[/name_u] and [name_u]Perry[/name_u] [name_u]Mason[/name_u]. It has vintage charm.
Brett is used for males and females and it reminds me of hard, haggard, jaded movie stars.
I like them both, I probably prefer [name_u]Brett[/name_u].
I think I prefer [name_u]Percy[/name_u] to [name_u]Perry[/name_u]. I also really like [name_f]Perrie[/name_f] on a girl.
