[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]
[name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is lovely! I can’t see [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as a standalone name, and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is too close to [name_f]Ambrosia[/name_f], sorry.
I like both combos, but I just really love [name_u]Kit[/name_u]!
I voted for [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] but I really love both. [name_u]Truly[/name_u]. They’re fantastic.
Thanks everyone! This has been so helpful for us!
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] by far! So handsome
Both are adorable. I prefer the flow of [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] and the names of [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]. I would probably choose the former.
I prefer [name_u]Alden[/name_u] with your other boys’ names. [name_u]Kit[/name_u] sounds too much like a nickname to me. I also like [name_m]Lelan[/name_m].d from your signature. All the names would then begin AND end with different letters.
This is tough - [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] was my top pick when we hemmed and hawed for weeks to name our son, so I have a deep love for it.
However, [name_u]Kit[/name_u] feels too short next to [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] - it’s more of a nickname, while your olders kids’ names are firmly surname category.
[name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is very handsome and gives me a refined, bookish impression - a lot like [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] ([name_m]Ralph[/name_m] [name_m]Waldo[/name_m]) and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] ([name_m]Thornton[/name_m]) - because it brings to mind both [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Mills[/name_m] [name_u]Alden[/name_u] and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_u]Carroll[/name_u], among others.
I also love [name_u]Alden[/name_u] as a way to get to jaunty, international “[name_m]Aldo[/name_m]” or sweet, unpretentious “[name_u]Denny[/name_u].” [name_m]Lew[/name_m]/[name_u]Lou[/name_u] is obvious if you want to pull from the middle name for nn.
Altogether, I think [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] has better flow/rhythm/whatever-we-call-it, works better as part of your sibset, and has more versatility and nicknames than K.A.
Best of luck, and congratulations!
Both are such handsome choices! I went with [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], because [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is just the sweetest name.
I prefer [name_u]Kit[/name_u] to [name_u]Alden[/name_u], but I think [name_u]Alden[/name_u] also fits in so nicely with his brothers names!
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]! Handsome and totally unexpected.
Both fantastic, but I’ve long thought [name_u]Alden[/name_u] is just the perfect complement to your other boys’ names, they were made to be brothers!
I think [name_u]Alden[/name_u] goes better with your other kids.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I am leaning towards liking [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as a name more, but I also agree that [name_u]Alden[/name_u] fits so well with his brothers names. Its such a tough choice! I honestly have no idea what name we will end up with…
I absolutely adore [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]. [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is ok but nms.
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is perfect combo
I adore [name_m]Louis[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]. Actually prefer [name_m]Louis[/name_m] than [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Louis[/name_m]. [name_m]Louis[/name_m] has the same feel with [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]. So handsome and gentle
I voted for [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], but I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] would be lovely.
I had such a hard time voting! [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is so handsome and masculine, but [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is romantic and dreamy. Had to go with [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]…
I feel like I am leaning this way too! I just like the name [name_u]Kit[/name_u] so much! Although I asked my friend what she thought of [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and she said it sounds like “kid”… I am worried what other people will think of his name now… Especially with his brother [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] (whose name has not been well received here, most people think he was named for the verb, only one person has ever connected the literary meaning behind it…) We are in the US too so it’s not popular at all here, which I am happy about.
