Which boy name do you like best?

[name]Nicolas[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Andrew[/name]

Thanks in advance.

[name]Dominic[/name] is by far my favourite from this list, with [name]Nathaniel[/name] second. I’ve never been a fan of [name]Andrew[/name] and I think it sounds particularly dated now.

1 [name]Dominic[/name] - I love this saint’s name. It has a built-in “cool factor” and an exotic vibe which makes a great mixture. It’s also strong and masculine too! [name]Every[/name] [name]Dominic[/name] that I’ve ever known has been swoon-worthy so that fact most probably influences my opinion!
2 [name]Nathaniel[/name] - One of my favorite male names from the Bible. I love the look and sound of it and the wonderfull nn [name]Nathan[/name].
3 [name]Nicolas[/name] - This is the French spelling of the name. The ususal spelling is [name]Nicholas[/name] with an “h”. This name is certainly appealing just less so than the top two.
4 [name]Andrew[/name] - I’ve never been a fan of this name and I don’t know why. It just sounds kind of “bland”.

Of the four, [name]Nathaniel[/name] is by far my favourite. However, I really like all four names. Leading the other three would be [name]Dominic[/name], with [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]Andrew[/name] tied. I actually prefer the British name [name]Nicol[/name] to [name]Nicholas[/name]/[name]Nicolas[/name] (would you prn it the French or Spanish way?) and I love [name]Sandy[/name] as a nn for [name]Andrew[/name].

  1. [name]Nathaniel[/name]
  2. [name]Dominic[/name]
    3 . [name]Nicolas[/name]
  3. [name]Andrew[/name]

I like all of them except for [name]Andrew[/name].

  1. [name]Nathaniel[/name]
  2. [name]Nicholas[/name]
  3. [name]Andrew[/name]
  4. [name]Dominic[/name]
I really like [name]Nathaniel[/name]. I picture a revolutionary war guy or something and I like the nns [name]Nate[/name] and [name]Nat[/name]. [name]Nicholas[/name] is very cute, and I like nn [name]Nick[/name]. I picture [name]Hemingway[/name]'s [name]Nick[/name] [name]Adams[/name]. I totally agree with others about [name]Andrew[/name] feeling bland. I have known a lot of bland Andrews partly! And [name]Dominic[/name] is ok, but seems a little bad boy feeling or something. Like I picture the name being pronounced [name]DOM[/name]-i-nic and that makes me shy away. [name]Just[/name] my gut feelings. Good luck!

Wow - this list is really freaky for me! [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]Dominick[/name] are all nephews of mine ([name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Nicholas[/name] are brothers), and [name]Andrew[/name] is my husband…and will most likely be the name of [name]Dominick[/name]'s brother when he’s born!

My favorite from your list is [name]Nathaniel[/name] as well…it has the best nickname! (Really like [name]Nate[/name] - it’s a very laid back, “cool guy” name)

Good luck!

I like [name]Andrew[/name] best just because of all the amazing nn’s you can have with it. I have know four Andrews in my lifetime and one of them just went by [name]Andrew[/name], two went by [name]Andy[/name], and one (my very favorite nn for this name!) went by [name]Drew[/name].

You picked some very classic and amazing names I love every last one of them especaily [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Andrew[/name]. But for me I know that no matter what you name a child unless it is already way to short to shorten, a nickname will become the norm eventually. And I like [name]Andy[/name] and [name]Drew[/name] a lot better than [name]Nate[/name], [name]Dom[/name], [name]Nikkie[/name], or [name]Nick[/name] for a boy.

I don’t care for [name]Andrew[/name]. [name]Dominic[/name] is ok. There is a large grocery chain in Chicago, where I was raised. Dislike [name]Dom[/name] as a nickname, too. [name]Nicholas[/name] is nice, but a bit worn out. Does [name]Nikolai[/name] hold any appeal for you? [name]Nathaniel[/name] is nice.
