Does [name]Archer[/name] seem trendy?
I don’t think [name]Archer[/name] seems trendy. It’s sort of a profession-name, like [name]Mason[/name], [name]Miller[/name], [name]Hunter[/name]… If it didn’t have such a cool image attached to it (I think of bows and arrows, [name]Zen[/name] archers with strong pointed focus, men riding horses through the forest) I wouldn’t be attracted to it as just a collection of sounds. Phonetically, I’m much more drawn to [name]August[/name]. [name]August[/name] feels calmer and more self-assured to me.
Neither one sound trendy to me. I like both, but I prefer [name]Archer[/name].
Definitely [name]Archer[/name]. [name]August[/name] sounds to pretty and girly to me, where as [name]Archer[/name] is the opposite, it sounds strong and manly! Are you struggling with middle names?
For [name]Archer[/name] I am, I have a few ideas for [name]August[/name] though.

It doesn’t sound feminine to me at all. I can see the appeal in [name]Archer[/name], but it’s not really my thing at all, sorry.
Definitely prefer [name]Archer[/name], I don’t like [name]August[/name] as a name at all. It just has a nasally sound to me that isn’t very pretty, and I can’t shake the fact that it’s a month, not a name in my eyes.
I love [name]Archer[/name]! It sounds so fresh and masculine, modern as a name but timeless in its associations. I want to like [name]August[/name] but I also feel like it is a little too soft sounding.
I like them both a lot, but I prefer [name]August[/name].
Rest assured it was a name before it was a month 
[name]August[/name] is great in the middle name spot, to me. For a first name, I like [name]Archer[/name] much better. I don’t think it’s too terribly trendy. I think it’s a lot classier than many of the other -er/occupation names.
[name]Love[/name] [name]August[/name] nn [name]Gus[/name]. [name]Archer[/name] is okay, but I prefer [name]Arthur[/name] or [name]Asher[/name].
I adore [name]August[/name]. [name]Archer[/name] does seem trendy to me–not that that’s a bad thing, in my opinion–but I also personally find it doesn’t flow off the tongue that easily. I don’t mind it, but I don’t love it.

I would love to meet a little [name]August[/name] but I wouldn’t use it for my child. I love [name]Archer[/name] so much but it does seem a bit trendy to me but not as much as a lot of other occupational names.

I like [name]August[/name] better because I am a huge fan of the nn [name]Gus[/name]!
The huntress in me says [name]Archer[/name]! [name]August[/name] is very classy though, but to me an indoor-name.
[name]Both[/name] are great names - but, I absolutely [name]LOVE[/name] [name]August[/name]! [name]August[/name] gets my vote for sure!

[name]Archer[/name] doesn’t seem trendy in my opinion. Like a previous poster said, its an occupation name and a really nice one at that! However, I do prefer [name]August[/name] a little bit more.
