[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! My list of baby boy names has evolved and now that I am married, I feel like we need to start figuring out these names! Please let me know which of these combinations you like best and if you have any suggestions for first or middle names. Any help is greatly appreciated! Oh, and our last name starts with J.
[name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] (my all time favorite…all the heart eyes for this one!)
[name_m]Euan[/name_m] [name_m]Myles[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Barrett[/name_u]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
We also really like [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but haven’t found a mn we love yet.
I adore [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_m]Miles[/name_m] (my preferred spelling, and [name_m]Milo[/name_m]), [name_u]Finn[/name_u], and [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is my favorite of your combos.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Birch[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Boone[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]!
Thank you both so much! My husband absolutely adores [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and it is certainly growing on me
I’m so glad you like it as well! I love the suggestion of [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], that’s a lovely name!
All of your names are wonderful! i particularly like the contrast of [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] (though I’m not very fond of [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] on its own, this really pops). [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is swoonworthy. I don’t like [name_m]Euan[/name_m] [name_m]Myles[/name_m] - firstly, I don’t like [name_m]Euan[/name_m] full stop, secondly, I prefer [name_m]Miles[/name_m], thirdly, it feels quite trendy, which I’m not a huge fan of. [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] - I’m not sure what i think about this. The names are both great, but for some reason I neither like nor dislike the combo. Not sure why, probably just me being weird.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is very handsome, I agree. So is [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Boone[/name_m]. Other suggestions:
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Julius[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] *
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Phineas[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] *
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m]/[name_m]Alistair[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Altair[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Ivo[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Quill[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Caspar[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] *
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Gael[/name_u] *
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] *
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Axel[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Jupiter[/name_m] *
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] *
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] Warburton
My favorite would be [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] [name_m]Myles[/name_m]. [name_m]Euan[/name_m] will not be recognized as easily as [name_m]Ewan[/name_m]. I’d probably spell [name_m]Myles[/name_m] with an ‘i’ instead of a ‘y’ but since it’s a middle name, I think there’s less pressure for using a traditional spelling. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] is my second choice–the names sound great together. [name_m]Judah[/name_m] is nice, but I’m not a fan of [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] (it sounds incomplete to me). I also like both [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] but not together–I think it’s that they both end in strong -n sounds. The suggestion of [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is beautiful!
Thank you all, I am so grateful for your feedback! I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] is a lovely combo, but for some reason it’s never been my favorite combination I’ve come up with. I am not the biggest fan of [name_m]Euan[/name_m] myself, that is one of my husband’s suggestions and I understand using an “i” in rather than a “y” in [name_m]Miles[/name_m]/[name_m]Myles[/name_m].
I also like the alternate spelling of [name_m]Ewan[/name_m]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any other mn suggestions for [name_m]Judah[/name_m]? I absolutely adore the name. I feel the exact same way about [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] due to the fact that they both end in the strong -n sound and so does our last name, which is a shame because I think it is absolutely beautiful. I haven’t completely ruled it out yet
I still love it. Thanks again for all the great suggestions!
I would really like [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
Oh my goodness that is a stunning name!! For some reason I prefer the “y” to the “i”, but this completely solves my problem with the combo of [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] because [name_m]Myles[/name_m] doesn’t have that hard -n sound at the end. Of the two, [name_u]Finn[/name_u] & [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] - [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is the name I adore. Thank you SO much; this is a great option I had never even thought of…and hubby just approved it
I looove [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]!
Would you consider mixing things up?
I really like [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and [name_m]Myles[/name_m]/[name_m]Euan[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m]
Thank you @emmievis! Isn’t it beautiful?! I’ve loved it for a long time, but I am also swooning over this new idea of [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] (heart eyes!). I would definitely consider mixing things up! [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is precious
Thanks so much!!
My preference would be [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] or [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_u]Barrett[/name_u], whichever spelling you like better. I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] would make a great first name…It has a long history of popularity and is different yet familiar, not overly popular or trendy.
Thanks so much @diane921! I love that [name_m]Myles[/name_m] is both different, not too popular & familiar at the same time
I am currently loving it as a first name.
