Which combinations?u

[name]Hi[/name] all,

I would like to name my future daughter after some family members. Which combination would you prefer?
Fn will be [name]Juno[/name] (my all time favorite girl name)
I’m considering a combination of up to three middle names:
Roswitha
[name]Catharina[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name]

Or using other names that are still honoring these family members.

Other possible names (aunts)
Hadewich (haa-duh-weeg
[name]Margaretha[/name]
[name]Johanna[/name]

Last name sounds like the-yo-duh

[name]Juno[/name] [name]Catharina[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Juno[/name] Roswitha [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Margaretha[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Catharina[/name] [name]Johanna[/name]

I really like [name]Beatrice[/name] the most of your choices. But Roswitha… what an interesting name with a good meaning. I like it! I think you should keep it going in the family. so… I second [name]Juno[/name] Roswitha [name]Beatrice[/name]

Ooh, great names! A few ideas:

[name]Juno[/name] [name]Margaretha[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Johanna[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Juno[/name] Roswitha [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Johanna[/name]
[name]Juno[/name] Roswitha Catheirne

Sorry for any repeats! [name]Hope[/name] that helps!

  • [name]Athena[/name]

Thank you very much!
I think i like [name]Juno[/name] Roswitha [name]Beatrice[/name] the best too.
Two other questions I would like to ask:

None of you suggested using all three names as middle names: e.g. [name]Juno[/name] Roswitha [name]Catharina[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name], too long?

Also, do you think i should use the full names, or are there other names that also honor these family members which will be a better fit?

Thanks!

I think three middles is a little much, unless you’re royalty or a crazy Hollywood actress.
Juno Roswitha Beatrice is quite grand enough, IMO. All three are wonderful names. Adding Catharina doesn’t detract from the flow, but I expect to hear “prima ballerina assoluta” at the end.

I agree with [name]Emma[/name]… if you want a name other than Roswitha, you could use any one of the [name]Rose[/name] names; [name]Rosalind[/name], [name]Rosamund[/name], [name]Rosa[/name], etc. But I think that Roswitha is so unique, you should use it!

[name]Emma[/name] i understand the association

[name]Juno[/name] Roswitha [name]Beatrice[/name] is beautiful!
