My surname sound lot like ***. ***. So it has three syllables.
Would first-middle-surname that has 3-3-3 syllable count work, without being choppy? Like [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] ***? Or I should pick something else? Like [name_m]Thor[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] ***?
I think [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] Atichich sounds fine. In my opinion what works really depends on each individual combo. Always call out a combo several times out-loud. Have others listen and have others also say it out-loud.
Does anyone else have opinion on 3-3-3 syllable name flow? Would three-syllable first and middle with three-syllable surname sound too choppy or sing-songy?
I think it’s more important what the flow between the first and last name is, because you probably are one of the few people that will say the child’s name in full on a regular basis (if that).
[name_m]Both[/name_m] of our top picks (one for each gender) are 3 syllables and our last name is as well, I use double middle names though, so those are not three syllables.
Our last name sounds like- Difozzi and our picks are [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] Difozzi and Lucello Difozzi.
But some others that are both 3 syllables sound odd.
I most definitely agree with previous poster…the syllable count doesn’t matter to much, it’s all about the individual names. Your example sounds nice, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I actually prefer the flow of it to your other example
