I think [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] flows the best. It’s refreshing to see [name_u]Avery[/name_u] for a boy!

I voted for [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u], I agree with mischa that the flow is better.

And [name_u]Avery[/name_u] sounds very handsome for a boy. I am loving seeing [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and [name_u]Francis[/name_u] used as well.

I think the v.r and the fr compete in [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]. I also vote for [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]

I prefer [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u].

I’m surprised to see that I’m in the minority! I prefer [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. I don’t think the “ee” ending of [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and the “eh” beginning of [name_m]Edward[/name_m] sound good next to each other.

Of the two, I prefer [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] because it has a slightly better flow than [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] (in my accent at least).

I love [name_u]Avery[/name_u] on a boy! I voted for [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]. I think it has a better flow. Additionally, because [name_u]Avery[/name_u] is also used for girls, and to the ear there is no difference between “[name_u]Francis[/name_u]” for a boy and “[name_f]Frances[/name_f]” for a girl, the [name_m]Edward[/name_m] in between makes the name unquestionably male right away.

Good luck, and congratulations!

[name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] seems much stronger to me.

Thanks for this excellent point, claireelise!

BTW, I’m not expecting - just being super organised!!

I’m so happy to see people saying they like [name_u]Avery[/name_u] for a boy. Never known anyone in Australia with that name. I think of it as male. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner suggested it randomly - he has no idea where he heard it either!

[name_m]Edward[/name_m] is one of my favourite names and would be honouring my grandfather - and my brother, as his mn is [name_m]Edward[/name_m].

[name_u]Francis[/name_u] is my dad’s and other grandfather’s middle name - plus, my partner’s grandfather’s name is [name_m]Frank[/name_m] (short for a Serbo-Croatian form of [name_u]Francis[/name_u]).

I’m so happy to see someone else loving [name_u]Avery[/name_u]! It’s one of my favorites for a boy. I’m in opposition to everyone else in that I think [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] sounds better (I find it a bit awkward to switch from the -ree to the ed- part). [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] just flows much easier for me, but I like the look of [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] more, so it got my vote, anyhow. And I don’t think it flows terribly, just not as well as the other.

Good luck!

I thought of that too, but it doesn’t bother me too much really.

I was originally just going with [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m], actually, but then wanted to add in [name_u]Francis[/name_u] too.

I also like the look of [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] better. Not sure why…! Perhaps it’s just because I love the name [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and like seeing it as close to first place as possible (can’t go in first because I can’t stand the nicknames [name_m]Ed[/name_m] and [name_m]Eddie[/name_m]!)!
