I love the name [name]Anders[/name]. Unfortunately we are a [name]German[/name]-speaking family and [name]Anders[/name] means “other” (as in, he’s a bit weird/odd/different). But in a community where people did NOT speak [name]German[/name], i think it’s a great name!
[name]Niels[/name] is also nice, but reminds me of [name]Nils[/name] Holgerson!
I also like [name]Henrik[/name], and think [name]Ibsen[/name] would be a great author to be named after (great for women’s lib!).

I voted for [name]Anders[/name], but I actually like all of them except [name]Mads[/name].

[name]Love[/name] [name]Mads[/name]. We thought about naming our first [name]Mads[/name], but the name was not received well by others, and we already have a crazy last name, so we didn’t use it. I think its a great name though.

LOTS of Sorens in my Danish heritage! In fact, quite a few [name]Soren[/name] Sorensens as well. I love the name but can’t sell my husband on it.

I love [name]Mads[/name], but I’m biased since it’s my brother’s name haha!
