[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] - not much nickname potential here but I kind of like that about the name since [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is so pretty all by itself. I think her middle name would be [name_u]Laine[/name_u] after my grandmother’s middle name [name_f]Elaine[/name_f].
[name_f]Willamina[/name_f] - I realize that I’m spelling it “wrong”. I’ve always been picky about people “making up” or completely botching traditional spellings… unless it’s with this name. Of course, since it’s what we may name our own child. But the traditional [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] spelling just makes me cringe. Almost to the point where if I was forced to use that spelling, I wouldn’t use the name. But I do love the sound of the name as well as this spelling. We live in [name_u]America[/name_u] so the [name_m]German[/name_m] history of the name and the pronunciation isn’t that important to us. Plus her nickname will be [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and that just makes since coming from [name_f]Willamina[/name_f]. She’s going to have to spell her name for everyone regardless since it’s not your typical [name_f]Sally[/name_f] or [name_u]Julie[/name_u] name, so that’s not such a big deal to me. I still am concerned that it’s just too much name though. And I have absolutely no idea what I’d use for a middle name. A short and sweet one syllable most likely.
[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] - Nickname [name_u]Skye[/name_u]. I love [name_u]Skye[/name_u]. I really love [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] too if we take out the fact that it’s in the Top 50 (I strongly dislike even the Top 100) and also the fact that it’s unisex. Her last name will literally have “man” in it so I want something that’s distinctly feminine and [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] isn’t quite that. I don’t want anyone to wonder if she’s a boy just by looking at the name. Her middle name would be [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] which I am in love with and want to use so bad. But our other two names end in “a” and I don’t love the first name ending in “a” with the middle name starting in “a”.
[name_f]Willamina[/name_f] is beautiful and I like that spelling better than the original. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is nice too. I don’t care for Sklyar.
[name_f]Willamina[/name_f] gets my vote. At first I was going to comment on the spelling but your reasoning for spelling it this way makes total sense to me. I think [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] would be a gorgeous combo. Good luck!
I love [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Willa[/name_f]! I agree with your spelling change and I typically like traditional spellings best. I love [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] would be my distant second choice but I like [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] better than [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_u]Laine[/name_u]. I don’t care for [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] myself, it’s just not my style. I would go for just [name_u]Sky[/name_u] over [name_u]Skylar[/name_u]. [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] [name_u]Sky[/name_u] would work well if you want to try to incorporate two of your favorite names:-)
Once again, opposed to everyone else, I love [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] of your choices, but dislike [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]/[name_f]Willamina[/name_f]/[name_f]Willa[/name_f].
I absolutely love [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], even [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] would be gorgeous, as well! I always thought [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] was a feminine name until my friends told me it was used as a boy name. It just sounds feminine to me. Though, not to most, so I think you’re on the right path by choosing a unmistakably feminine middle. I would just be wary with [name_u]Skylar[/name_u], pretty as it sounds to us.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is also a beautiful name and I love how you paired it with [name_u]Laine[/name_u]! Great combo and honor name in one =]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]'s my favourite. If [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] was spelt [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], it’d probably be my favourite…I don’t care for your spelling.
