I got a lot of positive feedback on here about the name [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] but we are still throwing around different ideas. I was curious which name you prefer:
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] or Colson [name_u]James[/name_u]
I love [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]! Colson is interesting, but I would prefer [name_m]Colton[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]. Good luck
Thanks for the replies! [name_m]Colton[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] does have a nice ring to it but we already have a [name_m]Colton[/name_m] in the family, so that’s a no go.
If you don’t want to use [name_m]Colton[/name_m] because there is already one in the family, then I think Colson is probably too similar. Have you considered [name_m]Coleman[/name_m]?
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is very distinguished! I definitely prefer that.
Have you considered [name_u]Colby[/name_u] or [name_m]Colter[/name_m]? Although tbh if you have a [name_m]Colton[/name_m] in the family any Col- name may end up being too confusing.
Thank you for all the feedback! It is very much appreciated!
I was afraid any Col- name would sound too similar to [name_m]Colton[/name_m]. [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] still appears to be the preferred choice though.
My personal favorite would be [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Colt[/name_m]. Second favorite would be [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Colt[/name_m]. I don’t know why, but [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] just seems a little incomplete to me. I feel like adding that t in there gives it a stronger, more resolute sound, if that makes any sense. Anyway, I think whatever variation you choose, you can’t really go wrong. It’s just a matter of tweaking the possibilities until you find the perfect one!
Also, if you really like [name_m]Cole[/name_m]/[name_m]Colton[/name_m] as a first name but feel like you can’t use it, perhaps you would like [name_m]Cliff[/name_m] or [name_m]Clifton[/name_m]? Or even [name_u]Dale[/name_u] or [name_m]Dalton[/name_m]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought!
I prefer [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. Or [name_m]Cole[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. I also like [name_m]Cole[/name_m] as a nn for [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].
Thank you so much for the feedback. We are definitely still leaning towards [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], just want to make sure we think of every possibility.
I really appreciate all the suggestions too, it’s nice hearing names we maybe did not think of.
