So I’m working on a story and having to decide between Louise and Linnea and I can’t have both but I love them both. Both names suit the character well (spunky, dark, romantic kinda thing happening). I like the nn for Louise better (Lou) but the story doesn’t necessarily use nns. So, Louise or Linnea?

Linnea for sure!! Louise doesn’t really feel romantic or dark to me, but Linnea definitely does. plus, Linnea is much more unique and memorable

[name_f]My[/name_f] perception of the name [name_u]Louise[/name_u] may be influenced by the Serpent and [name_u]Dove[/name_u] series (which I highly recommend reading it’s amazing) where the main character is [name_u]Louise[/name_u] and it has some of the same vibes but not very similar.
