I really like [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] and have for a long time now.
I also like [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f].
if you like [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] the best and end up naming her that, you might want to consider establishing a nickname other than [name_u]Del[/name_u]. Introduce her as [name_f]Elle[/name_f] or [name_f]Lena[/name_f] or whatever you choose and people should respect that.
Elphi/ Elf is a cute nn but I would keep this for at home or when she is a baby
fae/Phae/[name_f]Faye[/name_f] could work
[name_f]Dina[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_u]Dean[/name_u], dea( dee ya )
I never liked [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] really! not my style I guess.
I like hyacinth and [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] the best. I also do not think [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] is trendy at all. I could be mistaken, but I feel like it is underused considering how pretty it is.
1 [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] - sophisticate and chic [name_m]French[/name_m] gem
2 [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] - a vintage name ready for a comeback!
3 [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] - I would like it more if it wasn’t for that snobby British TV lady [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] Bucket on “Keeping Up Appearances”.
4 [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] - it’s ok but I prefer [name_u]Shannon[/name_u]
I was torn between [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] but decided i love [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] more, its just so beautiful. I love the colour of blue delphiniums and the sound of the name is so lilting and gorgeous. Also, i love nn [name_f]Elfie[/name_f]. [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] is lovely too, i love the [name_m]Fleetwood[/name_m] [name_m]Mac[/name_m] song and it feels very laid-back boho to me. [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] and [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] don’t really do it for me, but i’m in the UK so my associations will be totally different. I really like the name [name_f]Jacinth[/name_f] though.
I think that [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is beautiful and if you want to avoid the [name_u]Del[/name_u] nn you could use [name_f]Delta[/name_f] or [name_f]Fay[/name_f] because this name makes me think of playful nymphs flying about in the sunny mists.
I love [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] it’s a great mix between old world vintage and hippie-floral. I’d always imagine the nn Cin/Sin would work on a teen/adult. I love this name and with more people would use it. It definitely stands out to me.
I love [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] (I agree with @rollo about nickname options) and [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f].
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] for the win!
I’ve never liked [name_f]Maxine[/name_f], but of the 4 names you listed, this was the only one that didn’t have any issues ([name_f]Delphine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Del[/name_u] is going to happen or maybe [name_f]Delie[/name_f], Phine, Phina, [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] is nice, but not as sturdy as the other names, [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] is trendy).
Personally, I don’t love any of these names, but I like [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] the most. [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] reminds me of a mean girl I knew and [name_f]Rhianna[/name_f]. [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] is very masculine [name_f]IMO[/name_f] and [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] I just don’t love the sound of.
