[name]Hi[/name], I am probably annoying you all with my posts, but I really do like to see everyone’s opinions and how you feel about the names I love.
Which name do you prefer out of these 3? why?
[name]Clio[/name]/[name]Cleo[/name] (it seems that everyone here prefers [name]Cleo[/name] but for some reason I prefer [name]Clio[/name])
[name]Sage[/name]
[name]Hero[/name]
I have recently seen this spelling of [name]Clio[/name] which derives from Greek mythology, I like that it’s different to [name]Cleo[/name] and has strong links in history.
[name]Hero[/name] and [name]Cleo[/name] are both favorites of mine, but even though I prefer [name]Hero[/name] in the abstract I think it’s a bolder choice and could possibly be harder to wear. I would use [name]Cleo[/name] in a second. I adore [name]Hero[/name] and could see myself using it, but it would require a bit more deliberation.
[name]Sage[/name] for me. [name]Cleo[/name] (my preferred spelling) I’m just a little over and [name]Hero[/name] I’ve always found really unattractive. [name]Sage[/name] is sweet and refreshing [name]IMO[/name].
I prefer [name]Cleo[/name], [name]Sage[/name] would by my second choice. I would do [name]Hero[/name], because she would probably get teased a lot. It’s common for kids to know what heroes are because of superheros…
I love [name]Hero[/name] and [name]Clio[/name] - both are on my list for [name]Baby[/name]. I definitely prefer [name]Clio[/name] over [name]Cleo[/name], I love greek mythology and she was the muse of history which is pretty cool. [name]Cleo[/name] sounds like a cat to me…
I like [name]Sage[/name], then [name]Clio[/name], then [name]Hero[/name] personally.
[name]Clio[/name] (spelt this way) is the name of [name]Abby[/name] from Appellation Mountain’s daughter. You would have seen her on Nameberry as the writer of the Nameberry Nine weekly blog posts I’m sure she’d be happy to give you feedback on the history of the name and the reactions she has had to it if you’re wondering how it would go on a real person.
[name]Hero[/name] and [name]Sage[/name] are my favorites - [name]Hero[/name] has a few extra points due to its association with “Much [name]Ado[/name] About Nothing”.
[name]Clio[/name] - I love [name]Clio[/name]… a lot more than [name]Cleo[/name]. I think it looks nicer & I like the history & meaning of it better!
[name]Hero[/name] - This is cute! I’d never be brave enough to use it, but would love to meet a little girl named [name]Hero[/name].
[name]Sage[/name] - I don’t dislike this, but it’s just not my style.
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Hero[/name]! It’s our top choice for a future daughter! I love it!
[name]Cleo[/name] would be my next choice, I think it’s lovely. Prefer [name]Cleo[/name] to [name]Clio[/name] mainly because its the name of a car.
I see [name]Sage[/name] as more masculine than the other two, I don’t know, it’s just not as nice as the others.
[name]Sage[/name] and [name]Clio[/name] are short and pretty, which I like a lot. Never really loved [name]Hero[/name]. I’d do [name]Hera[/name], though
I like both [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Clio[/name]. [name]Cleo[/name], to me, seems more modern, while [name]Clio[/name] has very strong links to history. Aesthetically, I prefer [name]Cleo[/name], but to me it seems like a modern name with no real meaning - [name]Clio[/name] takes my mind immediately to Greek mythology.
While both [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Clio[/name] are my faves (particularly the latter), I like [name]Sage[/name] and [name]Hero[/name] as well. I would go with [name]Hero[/name] second, then [name]Sage[/name] third.
