- Victoria
- Vanessa
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] has been one of my favorite names since I was a child. I love the meaning, the sound and the multiple nicknames that it offers. [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is a timeless, majestic, melodic and gorgeous name!
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f] is my second favorite. It sounds powerful! [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] is a traditional but underused gem. It’s international and elegant. I adore that [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] is also a flower name. The nicknames [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] and [name_f]Nica[/name_f] are adorable and beautiful.
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] is a nice name, but where I live, it is quite dated. It was really overused in the 70’s and 80’s. However, I know it is considered upper class and regal in some countries, which is nice. I’m not crazy about the -essa sound but I really adore the connection with butterflies!
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f]! Pleasing sound and meaning and I like the nickname options - [name_f]Essie[/name_f], Ness, [name_f]Nessa[/name_f], [name_f]Nessie[/name_f], [name_f]Vana[/name_f], [name_u]Van[/name_u], Vee!
I like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] too, but the popular nicknames don’t appeal; [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] is cool too, but [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] still wins for me
i like victoria best !! strong, timeless, and feminine, with a bold sound and lovely meaning.
