I voted for [name]Charlotte[/name] and I live in the UK, [name]Wales[/name] to be more specific. [name]Amelia[/name] is very popular here (as is [name]Charlotte[/name] to be fair) but for some reason [name]Amelia[/name] has a sweet, girly feel to me, whereas [name]Charlotte[/name] has a more sophisticated feel. It’s something about the sound. [name]Amelia[/name] is singsongy, [name]Charlotte[/name] sounds grown up and strong.

They are equally upscale, [name]IMO[/name]. I’m from the Mid-Atlantic region.

I think they are a fairly even match.
I chose [name]Amelia[/name] though as I have known parents from low socio backgrounds to choose [name]Charlotte[/name] yet never [name]Amelia[/name]. Which tipped [name]Amelia[/name] over the line as more upscale by a whisker.

I agree that they’re about even.
I voted for [name]Charlotte[/name] because I don’t know any.
I know one little [name]Amelia[/name] and the name always reminds me of [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Earhart[/name] who was awesome but not what I think of as high class.
I’m from [name]California[/name].

I voted [name]Charlotte[/name]. I live in a very WASP-y area of the northeast. They’re both lovely & upscale, but I find [name]Amelia[/name] slightly more on-trend whereas [name]Charlotte[/name] (although not un-popular right now) is classic, classic, classic.

I think they are exactly even. They’re very, very similar names to me, both former “old lady” names now experiencing a top 100 revival. They both have the same classic, vintage feeling and I feel like I’m constantly seeing [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] sibsets. They’re very equivalent to me, to the point that I’m actually surprised when a family has an older daughter named [name]Charlotte[/name] or [name]Amelia[/name] and then doesn’t pick the other name for their next daughter.

I voted for [name]Charlotte[/name]. I live in the Midwest USA. [name]Even[/name] though [name]Charlotte[/name] is hugely popular here (more so than [name]Amelia[/name]) [name]Amelia[/name] has always sounded like a cowgirl name to me, and [name]Charlotte[/name] is classic and pretty even though it’s NMS.

I’d say they’re equal, both are classy and beautiful but not exactly upscale, split my time between here and [name]France[/name].

[name]Edit[/name]: I changed my mind, I think they could be considered upscale, more so in the past but probably some today. Sorry I’m finding it hard to describe what I’m trying to say here.

I agree with all of this.

I’m from Western Pennsylvania and I think [name]Amelia[/name] is more upscale. I do like [name]Charlotte[/name] too, but I feel [name]Amelia[/name] is a bit more sophisticated.

Yeah me too. I love both of the names but I voted for [name]Amelia[/name] because it seemed a bit “fancier”; haha. Best of [name]Luck[/name]!
[name]McKenzie[/name].
