I really like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] being a close second. Both of those names I love in their full form. As far as nicknames, I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] gets shortened to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] too often, which I think is boring. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is a much better nickname, if one even gets used. As far as [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], I don’t like any of the potential nicknames except for [name_f]Beth[/name_f]. Between the two names, I’d choose [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] just because [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] has so many potential bad nicknames, in my opinion.
I do like [name_f]Elaine[/name_f], but not a whole lot. I will say this, a name like [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] stands out in playgrounds filled with little [name_f]Ella[/name_f]'s.
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is okay. I used to like it a lot more than I do now…it just got a bit tiring seeing it all over Nameberry. It doesn’t even feel unexpected anymore. It’s sort of become the new Nameberry [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. When I first met a little [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], roughly 7 years ago, I was floored by how unusual it was. Now…meh.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are all lovely, but my favourite is [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] is another good one
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is my favorite, but [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is also very cute! Nicknames for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] could be:
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Liz[/name_f]
[name_f]Lizzy[/name_f]
[name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_u]Izzy[/name_u]
[name_f]Liza[/name_f]
[name_f]Betty[/name_f] (although I don’t like it)
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
Zae (even though [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] isn’t pronounced this way)
[name_m]Eli[/name_m] ([name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] isn’t pronounced this way, either)

Eth?
[name_m]Zabe[/name_m] (just like Zae and [name_m]Eli[/name_m])
My favourite has to be [name_f]Elaine[/name_f], so vintage and charming. My close runner-up would be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
