Which (Finn) name is best for August & Dash's baby brother?

We’ve decided on [name]Finn[/name], but which longer version do you like best?

Any middle name suggestions? Thanks!

I like [name]Jonathan[/name] as a middle name–any family names you want to honor?

I like [name]Finley[/name] the best too.

[name]Finley[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] [name]Michael[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] [name]Martin[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] [name]Oscar[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] [name]Jacob[/name]

Good luck!

[name]Finnigan[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Finnigan[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Finnigan[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Finnigan[/name] [name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Finnigan[/name] [name]Wade[/name]
[name]Finnigan[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Finnigan[/name] [name]Theodore[/name]

I really love [name]Finnian[/name], with [name]Finnegan[/name] in second place.

[name]Finnian[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Finnian[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Finnian[/name] [name]Grey[/name]
[name]Finnian[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Finnian[/name] [name]Miles[/name]

Good luck!

I love [name]Finnegan[/name]. [name]Finley[/name] would be my second choice, but I fear it may rise in popularity (as a girls name). Didn’t a celebrity recently choose it for a daughter?

No family names I want to use.

[name]Love[/name] all of them, but my fave is [name]Finnian[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name]. [name]Love[/name] it because it is a first name as opposed to a surname. I have a thing for first names because for some reason they seem more cozy and intimate. Last names seem more public, like they’re probably in the phone book. I love the way in [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austin[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Bronte[/name] novels, for example, everyone goes by their last name in proper society. I’m thinking of Mr. [name]Darcy[/name], Miss [name]Bennett[/name], Mr. [name]Rochester[/name], etc. It is only when one character knows another character really well that he or she gets to call him or her by their first name.

[name]Finnegan[/name] is out because my husband won’t stop singing, Poor old [name]Michael[/name] [name]Finnegan[/name],
Begin again. And then he BEGINS AGAIN!

I love [name]Finley[/name] [name]Oscar[/name], Millikate.
And love [name]Finnian[/name] [name]Grey[/name], [name]Jill[/name].

I’m glad you found some combinations! Haha! I totally forgot about the [name]Michael[/name] [name]Finnegan[/name] song, which I used to sing at camp. What was it again? “I knew a man named [name]Michael[/name] [name]Finnegan[/name], he had whiskers on his chinnegan…” (I forget the rest!)

I really, really love your sons’ names!

Please keep us posted!

There was an old man called [name]Michael[/name] [name]Finnigan[/name],
He grew whiskers on his chinigin.
The wind blew up and blew them in again,
Poor old [name]Michael[/name] [name]Finnigan[/name] ” Begin again

There was an old man called [name]Michael[/name] [name]Finnigan[/name],
He went fishing with a pinagin,
Caught a fish but it fell in again,
Poor old [name]Michael[/name] [name]Finnigan[/name], Begin again:

These are the only two versus he knows. :open_mouth:

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Finnian[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. That’s an incredible name! Honestly, I think [name]Finley[/name] is being taken over by the females these days. With [name]Dash[/name] and [name]August[/name] (both masculine sounding), I would personally stick with [name]Finnian[/name].

Best of luck to you! =)

[name]Ah[/name], the lyrics! Thank you for that trip down memory lane. (I can’t get the song out of my head now!)
