We’re trying to find the perfect first name to go with middles [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - mine and OH’s maternal grandmothers.
This is to go with my son’s name [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Bernard[/name_m] as well as our definite first choices for next baby [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] and [name_m]Hector[/name_m] [name_m]Leonard[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m]. (So yes this is planning ahead a baby or two…)
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f])
which first is your favourite? And if applicable which spelling or which nn? Are there any new suggestions that you think suit better that I’ve missed?
My initial reponse was [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], it seems spunkier and works alongside [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Hector[/name_m]. But if your other daughter is [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (which to me is soft and romantic) I’d choose [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (also soft and romantic). [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] sounds to similar to [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], I find [name_f]Clara[/name_f] a little harsh and [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] means your girls would have the same first initial - I’m a fan of everyone having their own unique initials.
ps [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Hector[/name_m] is a great (future sibset).
I love [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] but I don’t think she fits very well. I like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] best and what about

I would go with [name_f]Elenore[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]! However, I would prefer the spelling [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
