I think my husband and I have finally agreed on two girl names and would appreciate some opinions. Our two names are [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f].
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] doesn’t really have any family ties but we really like it. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is after my husband’s grandfather and [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is after his great aunt.
We have two boys, [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Mathieu[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]. Which do you think would fit best?
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]; [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is a little cutesy and informal as a stand alone name, especially next to two strong classics like [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. Personally I don’t think I would appreciate if my brothers had strong professional names and I did not.
I also vote for [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] doesn’t really work with her brother’s names. Have you thought about using [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] to honor [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]?
I agree that [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] doesn’t quite fit. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_u]James[/name_u], and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] are all so lovely. I adore that [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is after family so I would keep it but go with a more professional [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] “[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]” are perfect.
I think [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] fits best with your sons’ names. I think [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is better for a boy than a girl. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] would be awesome though. Or how about [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]? I really like [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] (and think honoring family in the middle is awesome).
I think that [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] would be a beautiful choice. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] goes splendidly with [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] ([name_u]Charlie[/name_u] just doesn’t “fit”), and [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is a gorgeous, shimmery middle name…much less expected that [name_f]Mae[/name_f], and with family meaning. Perfect.
I think [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Mathieu[/name_m], [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] sound the best together.
I prefer [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] with the rest of the sibset, but I don’t see the point of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], if you’re only going to call her [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] as a full name is fine [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
I am also voting for [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. Personally if I heard of a sibling set of [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], I would think it was a wonderfully named brother set. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is beautiful.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is lovely and I prefer that fn with brothers named [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. I think that it’s only fair to give your daughter a more formal name to complement her brothers.
I prefer [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]. In general and with your sibset.
Is [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] or [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] an option?
p.s. on a side note, Hannah Mae sounds a bit like Anime. Maybe nobody else would every notice, but I’m not even a fan of the genre and I can hear the connection.
I think [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] or [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] sounds beautiful. While [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is a nice name, as has already been expressed by other users, it looks rather too cutesy when compared to the names [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u].
