Which flows best? - Poll

So [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_u]Noa[/name_u] won my last poll against [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_u]Noel[/name_u], and people said that it flows better, but I’m still not sure. We would pronounce it Airy-uhl and our last name is a 2 syllable T name. Please let me know your thoughts on which flows best.

  • [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_u]Noa[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_m]Lael[/name_m] ([name_m]Lay[/name_m]-elle)
  • [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]

I agree with @anon68906791! [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is so gorgeous, a magical princess-like name matched with a traditional, established, and widely beloved name.

Ariel [name_u]Noa[/name_u] is lovely too, and I agree that it flows well but it doesn’t have the same fantastical flare that [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] has.

Ariel [name_m]Lael[/name_m]. Both names are darling on their own, however, the ‘elle’ sound completely takes over the name, and takes away from the beauty of each name unfortunately…

My preference is certainly [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], however you can’t go wrong with [name_u]Noa[/name_u]!

Thank you for the feedback!

I think I’m stuck on the -elle middle names because we would pronounce [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] with an -uhl ending (like [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]) so it isn’t repetitive in my mind. But I also wouldn’t want someone who pronounces it differently to think we named her such a rhyming name  I honestly hadn’t considered it before though since that’s now how I say it naturally! Thank you

Ariel [name_u]Noa[/name_u] is cute!
