Which full names could use the nn "Maisie"?

I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Maisie[/name], but it sounds more like a nn to me. I would like her to also have a more “proper” name for when she’s older, or to use professionally, etc. Which names could [name]Maisie[/name] be a nn of? Thank you!

[name]Maisie[/name] is the traditional nn for [name]Margaret[/name].

[name]Margaret[/name] or [name]Marguerite[/name] or maybe [name]May[/name] (though this last one is technically shorter than the nn)

[name]Mae[/name]/[name]May[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name]

[name]Mireille[/name]
[name]Amalia[/name]
[name]Maybelle[/name]
[name]Maeve[/name]

I love [name]Maisie[/name], too. A few more possible sources of [name]Maisie[/name] could be [name]Margo[/name]/[name]Margot[/name], [name]Mabel[/name], or even something like [name]Marielle[/name] (a form of [name]Mary[/name], and [name]Mae[/name] can be a nickname of [name]Mary[/name]…).

Good luck!

[name]How[/name] about [name]Maya[/name] pronounced like [name]May[/name]-uh? I think the nn [name]Maisie[/name] is just adorable! Also, although this probably isn’t my style, I guess you could get to nn [name]Maisie[/name] with the name [name]Mason[/name], but it’s pretty tryndee, and that bugs me.
