It’s a girls name. I like it on its own, but it’s a girls name. Not a boys.

I voted girl but I do think a strong argument could be made for it to be a unisex name.

I voted girl.

I voted for girl but I can imagine it on a boy.

[name_f]Lux[/name_f] is a word therefore it is unisex.
So tired of nearly every word name being called a girl name

Since [name_f]Lux[/name_f] is a word for “light”, it’s technically unisex (English speakers). However, I took Latin for many years in high school and if my memory serves me well and I’m feeling really picky, [name_f]Lux[/name_f] in the original Latin is assigned the feminine gender.

[name_f]Lux[/name_f] is mainly associated with one of the daughters in The Virgin Suicides, which makes it feel very feminine to me. I would be surprised to see it on a boy.

[name_f]Lux[/name_f] is a feminine name.

Obviously I have no background on this name as everyone else apparently does, but just going off of sound, I would say totally boy. [name_f]Lux[/name_f] would be quite masculine for a girl to pull off…

Most people would say girl, but it doesn’t sound feminine to me at all. I say boy.

I can’t picture it on a boy at all.

Hey! Thanks for all the great feedback ladies!

[name_f]My[/name_f] SO calls me [name_f]Lux[/name_f]… I’m not sure I’ve ever thought of it as a name, though, and my only brush with it was in The Virgin Suicides.
“[name_m]Light[/name_m]” is a feminine noun in romance languages, so I’m going to go with the “girl” vote, but I guess technically it’s genderless in English.
