I like short names too. I prefer the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] spelling of [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]. I chose [name_f]Lily[/name_f] because it has long been my favorite. I also like [name_f]Evie[/name_f].
Thanks for the reply. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_u]Ashton[/name_u]. While it isn’t as short as the ones on my list, I always like having a short name.
DBF and I also have a fondness for short names - particularly 4 letter ones, haha! I’m a fan of all of those. It was a struggle to pick between [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]… But I went ahead and chose [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. I like both of them very much, but at this point, I see myself as more likely to name a baby [name_f]Lily[/name_f] over [name_f]Nora[/name_f].
What would be some suitable middle names for these four letter names? Thats the next dilemma.
I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. It reminds me of spring and all I can picture is a little girl running through lillies
I don’t care for [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] but I love [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. WDYT of [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]?
I chose [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] with nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f] (that would have been my number 1 had it been a choice!)
I voted for [name_f]Nora[/name_f]; i think it’s so fresh and its under-used.
Second choice is [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], but spelled [name_f]Lila[/name_f], just like a previous berrie posted/
[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is for [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] are nice as well. I like [name_f]Evie[/name_f] pronounced ee-vee, not ev-ee.
I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I am not sure out of those three which I love more.
I really like the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] looks a bit weird. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is classic and beautiful. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is also lovely, though a bit popular. I dislike the Ev-ee prn. but I love ee-vee.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Verona[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] Rosabel
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_m]Elvin[/name_m]
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Diane[/name_f]
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]
If [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] were spelled [name_f]Lila[/name_f], it would be my fave. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] got my vote though.
Of those choices I like [name_f]Evie[/name_f]
I also really love [name_f]Livy[/name_f], which is very close to [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is gorgeous!!
I like them all except [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] seems too nicknamey. I voted for [name_f]Lily[/name_f], but I also love [name_f]Nora[/name_f].
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is my favorite, followed by [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] don’t have enough substance for me.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is my favorite by far.
I’m not too wild about any of the other choices.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. If [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] was [name_f]Lila[/name_f] I would consider it. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is too cutesy for my taste for a first name.
Lyla Brooke Lyla Gwen Lyla Hope; Nora Paige Nora Faith Nora Ivy; Lily Blythe Lily Brynn Lily Jade; Evie Clare Evie Grace Evie Lake … I prefer Nora, after Nora Ephron. Nora goes with almost any one syllable middle name
Good luck!
