I am expecting my second child and would like your opinion on these names. Our last name is Specter and we have a son named [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] ([name_m]Nate[/name_m])
Thanks for your help
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] (not sure about the SS)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Ali[/name_u])
I like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] best too. While I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], the -s ending doesn’t work with your last name. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is too modern/unisex next to [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] seems a bit dated (maybe move one of these to the mn position instead?). My other thought for you is [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are great together and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] works well with your last name too!
I like the sound of [name_m]Nate[/name_m] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] together as siblings - cute and cozy I really like [name_m]Nate[/name_m] and [name_u]Ali[/name_u] too - but not with the full name [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_u]Ali[/name_u] are my favorites!
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] too but it bugs me when the last sound of the first name runs into the first sound of the last name.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]. I agree with previous posters who have said [name_f]Alice[/name_f] melts into Sp3cter. Also, I love [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], but [name_m]Nate[/name_m] & [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] could potentially sound like brothers.
[name_m]Nate[/name_m]/[name_m]Nathan[/name_m] & [name_f]Emma[/name_f] sound amazing together. And I actually really like the alliteration of the SS; my concern would more be the slightly dated feel of [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]. It could still work though!
I like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] & [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Of the two, the first feels most like a set of siblings to me.
I’m not a fan of unisex [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] next to masculine [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], as they also share the -an/in- ending (which makes up so much of both names as they’re relatively short) and [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] seems a little dated to me but apart from that, I also always try to stay away from anything SS).
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f] are lovely. [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] is a pretty name but it feels a little dated to me, and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] doesn’t work at all with your surname (say it aloud!)
