Hello, DH and I are expecting our third child and would love your opinions on these names.
We have two sons named [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_u]Carson[/name_u] and want a name new that sounds good with both of them.
We have a few names we really love, however our last name also starts with S and am not sure about SS initials. I’m not sure how they sound with our last name, which is Specter.
I like [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] with [name_u]Carson[/name_u] and [name_u]Tyler[/name_u]. It has a similar modern feel to [name_u]Carson[/name_u] and [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] but doesn’t feel trendy. I think SS is OK. Are you worried about the Nazi association? Assuming she will have a middle name I think it is OK since she can just use three initials. I like the alliteration. If you don’t want to do SS I like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] or [name_f]Alessia[/name_f] (though [name_f]Alessia[/name_f] is maybe a little hard to say with your last name).
[name_f]Alessia[/name_f] would be my pick! It’s pretty, feminine but with some spunky nicknames, not too popular but familiar sounding and I can imagine her just fine as a sister to [name_u]Carson[/name_u] and [name_u]Tyler[/name_u]
I love [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], in spite of their megapopularity in the US. It’s quite likely that they would be in class or on a sports team with another girl with their name in their lives, but imo that’s not a very big deal. If you’d like a less popular name, I love [name_f]Alessia[/name_f] for you. In general I think all of your choices are very wearable and there isn’t really a way you could go wrong. [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] and [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] do sound a little 90s to me to be honest, but definitely still suitable for a 2018 baby. I wouldn’t really worry about SS initials, there are tons of people with these initials in the world, and she will most likely also have a middle name, which would clear up the issue.
I don’t think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] sounds quite right with your last name and I’m not a fan of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], but the others are all nice. I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is my favorite.
My pick would be [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. I adore [name_f]Emma[/name_f], it’s short and sweet. [name_f]IMO[/name_f], it also sounds the best with your last name and as a sibset with [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_u]Carson[/name_u].
