It seems like a lot of people here follow names and naming trends closely. What girl names that are not in the top 10 now do you predict will be within the next 5 or so years?
I’m guessing [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. Maybe [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. Other ideas?
Depends on the time frame really. I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] will continue to trend upward. I think [name_f]Cora[/name_f] will as well.
I think [name_f]Ella[/name_f] will probably reach top 10. Maybe [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_f]Zoey[/name_f], or [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].
Yes, I know a lot of Ellas and Averys. I don’t know any Zoeys or Scarletts, but that’s part of why I asked – it can be hard to know which names are trending upward in general and which are just trending in my group of friends.
Definitely [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. And maybe [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]. It seems that older names are becoming increasingly popular at the moment.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - I know of one under a year old
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]?
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
I feel like all the names that are already popular in the UK and climbing here will make it like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. I bet [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] will make it to the top 10 too.
