[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m]. Not only does it sound better but the honor part is much more straight forward
I agree with pp that [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] works better as an honor name.
I prefer [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. I really don’t like [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m], and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] flows better.
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] works better as an honour name as it is obvious whereas [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is nice too, but has to be explained. I love [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]!
I prefer [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] as I like that [name_u]Winter[/name_u] really lightens and modernises [name_m]Magnus[/name_m].
However, [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] do work together very well stylistically, and make more obvious sense for a namesake, so I see the appeal of that combo too. I guess it depends on your overall style - softer and modern, or classy and old-fashioned.
I prefer [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is so heavy to me, I like the lightness of [name_u]Winter[/name_u] to soften it.
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is an amazing name! I don’t think the honour being less overt really matters, since you’ve had to think outside the box because your honouree hates their name. Such a strong, fresh, striking combo!
Thank you for all the great feedback, Berries!
I voted for [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m], but it doesnt really roll off the tongue all that smoothly.
[name_m]MAGNUS[/name_m] [name_u]WINTER[/name_u] sounds like a cheesy comic book character. Or a military offensive.
