Which honor name?

Hey, all! I’m trying to choose between two names, both of which honor the same person. I’d love to know which one you prefer and why!

They are [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Bee[/name_f] [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f].

(Also, I’d really appreciate it if you’d drop how you pronounce [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] curious!)

I would pronounce [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] as stella-MAH-ris (MAH like the a in hat and cat) or stella-MAHR-iss (MAHR like the a in car and star) - (I’ve got a British accent so it would sounds slightly different in the US)

They’re both so lovely, but I prefer [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]! [name_f]Bee[/name_f] is my favourite single name overall, but [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] compliment each other really well imo. I would pronounce [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] pretty much like the above, stel-luh-mahr-iss :slight_smile:

I’d pronoucne [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] as stell-uh-mar-is (mar rhyming with car)

I pronounce [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] like stel (rhymes with tell) - ah (like the sound in car) - mah (the sound in car) - riss. I prefer [name_f]Bee[/name_f] [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f], because I like the mix of lengths and styles, and the names just sound awesome together, but I also really like [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].

Where I live, most girls would prefer (I think) [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] to [name_f]Bee[/name_f]. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is popular and easy to wear these days and the [name_f]Maris[/name_f] part could be dropped or chosen exclusively if the girl preferred it.

[name_f]Bee[/name_f] is cute, but there’s not as much you can do with it, unless you do expanded nicknames (Belinda, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], etc.).

I really like both for you! Personally, I like [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] more than [name_f]Bee[/name_f] so that’s my pick. I’ve always said it stell-uh-MAIR-is because that’s how I’d pronounce [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Maris[/name_f] separately.

I love [name_f]Bee[/name_f] [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f]! [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] seems quite long, and I’m personally just not a fan of [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].

[name_f]Bee[/name_f] [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] gets my vote!

The reason being I’m not sure how to pronounce [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f]. Maybe stell-uh-mar-is? I feel like you would be constantly correcting pronunciation and spelling for this one! [name_f]Bee[/name_f] might get some [name_f]Bea[/name_f] spellings but is a cute name!

I prefer [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] to [name_f]Bee[/name_f], but really not feeling it with Olivia… It just feels too long.

I much prefer [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], which is so stunning! I pronounce it stel-uh-MARE-iss, mare rhyming with care.

I like [name_f]Bee[/name_f] [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] more though I think [name_f]Bee[/name_f] might need a longer name.
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Stellamaris[/name_f]. I go between prn it Stella-mar-iss (mar like bar)and Stella-Maree.

If pronounce it STELL-uh-MARR-iss (“marr” rhyming with “car”) or STELL-uh-MARE-riss (“mare” rhyming with “care”).

I might opt for [name_f]Bee[/name_f] Andromeda… I think. They’re both magical.
