I really like [name]Isolde[/name]! [name]Isadora[/name] is pretty too but I prefer [name]Isolde[/name]. I like the nn [name]Dora[/name] for [name]Isadora[/name], and I think [name]Izzy[/name] is avoidable unless she grows up to prefer the nn [name]Izzy[/name].
I like [name]Ilse[/name]. I think it would be great on a little girl and on a grown up woman while I picture [name]Isolde[/name] and [name]Isadora[/name] as women in their 40s or 50s. Besides that, [name]Ilse[/name] is safe from being nicknamed [name]Izzy[/name].

[name]Isolde[/name], no question. This is such a wonderfully ancient yet underused name with wonderful. I’ve never been able to come around to [name]Isadora[/name], although I can understand the appeal, and [name]Ilse[/name] feels far less versatile in my opinion.
Definitely [name]Isadora[/name]. If you don’t like [name]Izzy[/name], there are quite a few other nickname options-- [name]Sadie[/name], [name]Isa[/name], [name]Dora[/name], [name]Doe[/name].
[name]Isolde[/name] is my favorite, but [name]Isadora[/name] is pretty and has lots of good nns.
I like [name]Isadora[/name] the best! [name]Dora[/name] is probably the first nn people would guess, but I hate it. [name]Sadie[/name] could definitely work as a nn. I really like [name]Isa[/name], pn ee-suh, as well.
[name]Isolde[/name] is fantastic, I was so sad when my DH vetoed it for ours, it’s really a lovely name with great history. I think you could avoid [name]Izzy[/name] if you wanted.
