[name]Lilith[/name] for me. Fierce! I like the idea of [name]Lilith[/name] [name]Idonea[/name] or [name]Lilith[/name] [name]Olwen[/name].
Sorry, but may I ask about [name]Hacinthia[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you mean [name]Hyacintha[/name], as in the flower (hyacinth) and the [name]Saint[/name] [name]Hyacintha[/name]? I’m unfamiliar with [name]Hacinthia[/name] - assume it’s a typo?
[name]Hacinthia[/name] is the Spanish word for [name]Hyacinth[/name]. OH loves it but spelled Hycinthia, I prefer plain old [name]Hyacinth[/name].
[name]Ah[/name]. Cool. Are you guys Hispanic? Or is it just a compromise?
I’ve never heard of [name]Hyacinthia[/name]. [name]Just[/name] [name]Hyacintha[/name] and [name]Hyacinth[/name]… [name]Hyacinthe[/name] in French. Or there’s straight up [name]Cynthia[/name], which I love because it’s an epithet of [name]Artemis[/name]. [name]Cynthia[/name] [name]Blaire[/name] and [name]Lilith[/name]… mmm.
Not in the least, although if [name]Martin[/name]'s eyes weren’t blue he could probably say he was at least partially. It’s a compromise since he seems to love it so much. And then his mom came home with hyacinths and he was convinced. Lol.
[name]Cynthia[/name] [name]Blaire[/name] sounds great but idk if he’d go for it. When he’s sold on something very little will change his mind. Lol.
Are you sure? I’ve only ever seen jacinto for the word, and [name]Jacinta[/name] for a name. I actually can’t think of any words in Spanish that have a TH in it… I know this post wasn’t about [name]Hacinthia[/name], but I would double-check sources for it being a Spanish word. Like you, I love Hyacinth as well
Anyway, I voted for [name]Lilith[/name]. I think it’s gorgeous, and definitely under-recognized. I like [name]Lilith[/name] Hilja best from your list- very pretty and strong!
Yes men can be set in their ways, can’t they… Well they’re wonderful flowers, no matter how you spell the name. And [name]Blaire[/name] is a crisp classic. Sorry to hijack the thread!
No problem. A thread with some kind if decent conversation is good with me. Plus I’d rather hammer it all out now rather than when crazy pregnancy hormones are messing with my emotions.
I think nameberry was actually my source. I can’t find anything else. I’m really hoping I can talk [name]Martin[/name] into [name]Hyacinth[/name] by the time we have children (I’ve got five years to do it in). I know [name]Jacinta[/name] is a correct name/spelling because [name]Martin[/name] does have a childhood friend (who is Hispanic) named such.
I absolutely [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Lilith[/name]! Its so beautiful, fierce yet soft.
