Which is the best fit for our baby #6?

Hey there all you Nameberries!

I am due with my 6th child in [name_u]November[/name_u]. We don’t know the gender, and are having a hard time finding/agreeing on a name for both. I would [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] some feedback on my boy list, as well as any added suggestions.

Our other kids’ names are [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], [name_f]Katelyn[/name_f], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Jiles[/name_m], and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f].

Here is my list of favorites:
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]Moses[/name_m]

My hubby’s list of faves:
[name_u]Golden[/name_u]
[name_m]Jett[/name_m]

I have a thread of our girl names here.

Thanks!!

[name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to NB!!!

I really like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] with your other kids names. [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_m]Jiles[/name_m] are both short while [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] has a little bit of that spunky substance that I love about [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]. [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and [name_m]Moses[/name_m] strike me as a bit rigid for you. And while I like the idea of [name_m]Jett[/name_m] as a mn I don’t love it with [name_m]Oliver[/name_m].

Suggestions:
Jethrow [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] ([name_m]Jett[/name_m])
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] Jettison ([name_f]Olli[/name_f]/[name_m]Jett[/name_m]) - An obscure and “weird” word name but I think it could work as a [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]/[name_m]Jackson[/name_m] alternative.
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Aurelian[/name_m] ([name_f]Olli[/name_f]) - [name_m]Aurelian[/name_m] means “golden” and could be a cool way to honor your husbands favorite without using it.
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Zane[/name_m] ([name_f]Olli[/name_f])

I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is my favorite. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]? I think it would go well with your other children’s names.

Cool, thanks. I forgot to mention that we already have the middle name picked out: [name_m]Noble[/name_m]. It was my great-grandmother’s maiden name, and it’s just a great name with a great meaning. Now just to find the first name! I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], but my DH is not sold on it.

I agree with lexiem, I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Jett[/name_m] is fabulous with your set!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] Nobel.

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] was my favorite of all the names suggested. It works so well with your sibset.

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Noble[/name_m] sounds amazing. Can I steal it? [name_m]Just[/name_m] kidding.

The only other name that flows well with Nobel as a middle name is [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]. But I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] sounds nicer with the names of your other children.

I wouldn’t go with [name_m]Jett[/name_m] as the first name since your other five already have different beginning letters to their names. You already have a “J.”

Another vote for a [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Noble[/name_m], very dashing!

agree with 2b5 - [name_m]Jett[/name_m] & [name_m]Jiles[/name_m] would share the initial so I’d avoid this.

I was going to suggest [name_m]Miles[/name_m] instead of a [name_m]Milo[/name_m] but then there’s [name_m]Jiles[/name_m] again, seems he’s holding the fort

[name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to nameberry!!

Congrats on your #6 child and good luck my dear. With your children’s names I love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is a handsome, elegant, romantic choice. Conjuring up images of [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] Cromwell and the English countryside. I also love the nickname [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] works with his potential siblings names really nicely creating the right sound and look.

I think the rest kind of clash with their siblings names. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] with his pronounced ‘o’ ending sounds too close to ‘[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]’ which makes [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] & [name_m]Milo[/name_m] work as a two way sibling set but isolates [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], [name_f]Katelyn[/name_f], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], and [name_m]Jiles[/name_m]. Similarly [name_m]Moses[/name_m] feels to biblical along with another strong biblical name - [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - which makes the sibling set slightly unbalanced. Finally [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] in my eyes just doesn’t work with the sibling set, the name in style feels too different.

My favourite is [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]!

My favourite middle name is [name_m]Jett[/name_m]. [name_m]Jett[/name_m] is an intriguing choice and works well with [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. Whereas [name_u]Golden[/name_u] just feels strange.

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is my fav from your list, but I think [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] or [name_m]Milo[/name_m] sounds best.
