[name_f]Thora[/name_f] [name_f]Evening[/name_f] is stunning! It’s the best of all of these, and the only one I voted for. I like a lot of the other individual names but typically not the one they’re paired with (love [name_f]Fenella[/name_f], dislike [name_f]Sandra[/name_f]), so [name_f]Thora[/name_f] [name_f]Evening[/name_f] is the only one that scores for me.
Mixing, I would love [name_f]Fenella[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] or [name_f]Magdalen[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f]. I also like Faraday but wouldn’t know what to pair her with.
I think my next dogs will be [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f] and [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] Faraday, though if I had gotten to have kids, they would have been my daughters.
Jessmyn [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] and [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f] are my favourites, but I like a lot of the first names on their own too.
The best combinations are [name_f]Thora[/name_f] [name_f]Evening[/name_f] (evokes a stormy night sky) and [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f] (rowan and maple, very arboreal), but my favorite first name choices would be [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] (’[name_u]Romy[/name_u]’), [name_f]Magdalen[/name_f] (though the original [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f] spelling looks more complete to me) and [name_f]Ligeia[/name_f].
For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t pair [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] with [name_f]Faye[/name_f] since I associate them with different characters from Arthurian legend - [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]'s queen [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] and his half-sister [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] le [name_f]Fay[/name_f].
I thought of that about [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] and [name_f]Faye[/name_f] too, but somehow still liked it. Of course I am not actually naming a baby, just playing with names. I think what I liked was the sound and look of it and the goodness and badness of the two characters melded into one name (but again not an actual child choice).
