I like them all except for [name]Norah[/name] and I would change [name]Lilliana[/name] to the prettier [name]Lily[/name], [name]Lily[/name] [name]Adeline[/name].
I think my problem with most of these is that your middle name, [name]Adeline[/name], begins in an A and most of your first name choices end in A. I just don’t love the flow of such a combination.
I liked the previous poster’s suggestion of [name]Lily[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], but I think [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] “Barch” would be totally adorable, myself. The other name that I liked was [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Alice[/name] - though I think [name]Alice[/name] [name]Adelina[/name] is really quite sweet! Why not use [name]Adeline[/name] as the first name and use a combination like [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Elspeth[/name], [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], or [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Julia[/name] “Barch,” saving [name]Alice[/name] for a future daughter, perhaps?
I voted for [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Adeline[/name]. I agree, Name-that-ends-in-a (FN) Name-that-starts-with-a (MN) doesn’t have the best flow. [name]Camille[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] is pretty, too, and [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Camille[/name] would be a great sibset! The only problem I see with [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] “Barch” and [name]Camille[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] “Barch” is the initials, JAB and [name]CAB[/name]… Oh well, I don’t think that most people would notice! I also like [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Alice[/name], but the two names share the same meaning, “noble”, and origins…
I voted for [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Alice[/name], simply because I think that it has the best flow, and both are lovely names. But is the sound too repetitive? I’m not sure! I also love [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Norah[/name], but for me the As on the end of [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Norah[/name] blend with the A at the beginning of [name]Adeline[/name], and the 3-syllable repetition puts me of [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] slightly. I don’t think you can go wrong, though, because all of your girl names are very pretty.
Right now my husband only wants two children, so there might not be a future daughter I can save names for. I really like both [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Lily[/name], but can’t use them because they are already used in my family (or people we know).
In the past I have gotten the feedback of the A’s running into eachother from the first name into the middle name, but it really doesn’t bother me. Since the middle name is a family name with great significance I don’t want to lose it or change it. I also don’t want to give up on a first name I may really like because of the slight run into the middle name. Is it really awful? Or just a small problem that can totally be okay?
Agree totally, too many vowels, although on their own all these names are beautiful. [name]Adeline[/name] is so strong and flowy by itself I would use a shorter, perhaps one-syllable middle name?
That would be a good idea, but the middle names are solid since they are family names. I would like to keep the full [name]Adeline[/name].
Thanks though!
