I was between [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] and [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Belén[/name_f], but [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] just took the edge - it’s elegant and bold

luciena belén because i adore luciena !!

Luciena appears to have the meaning “light.” It’s got a beautiful sound and flows so pleasingly off the tongue.

Unfortunately, [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] always reminds me of the Spanish word “nadie,” which means “nobody.”

So torn between [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] and Luciena [name_f]Belén[/name_f]! Both absolutely gorgeous names, very elegant, romantic, and hazy, like a dream.

[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] is fantastically regal and exciting! :crown:

Thank you so much everyone for all of the votes and feedback. :grinning: Hopefully hubby and I will make a final decision in the next couple of days. I really love Magdalena, but hubby isn’t crazy about it as a first name. So a compromise may be Nadia, which I do like… but as a Spanish speaker, I do struggle a little with how similar it sounds to “nadie”-nobody, as a previous poster also mentioned. Nadia Belén is really meaningful to me as a Christian…. Hope (Nadia) arrived to the world in Bethlehem (Belén)…through Jesus. But Nadia Magdalena would at least allow Magdalena to be found somewhere in her name, and give me a chance to call her that sometimes.
