I love [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]

My favorite is [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. I think it goes well with all your first name options and I dont think its much of a stretch.

I chose [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] in the poll but my favourite [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] nickname would be [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]

Anything but [name_f]Margot[/name_f]!

I agree. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] sounds best with your first name choices. HTH!

I just adore [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]! I also live most if her forms and nicknames. My favorites are [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Maggie[/name_f].

[name_f]Eudora[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is very pretty or [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

All of the first names you’re considering are polysyllabic and end with an -a. I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] places the stress most nicely-- it’s 2 syllables, with the emphasis on the second, and there are no repeated sounds. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would work phonetically as well but most people would not connect it to [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], or the saint.

[name_f]Forsythia[/name_f], [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f], and [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] all feel very Old South to me, even more so when I think of the possibility of sisters named [name_u]Flannery[/name_u] (O’[name_m]Connor[/name_m]) and [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] (Welty). For that reason [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] are the only middle name options that “click” for me. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] does sound good with the names you’re considering though.

What about [name_f]Molly[/name_f]? [name_f]Molly[/name_f] was sometimes used as a nn for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]… not sure if it matches the first name choices though.

I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! Adorable but also a cute vintage feeling name. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]May[/name_f], and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] are also nice, but I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f]!

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is my favorite variation of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] but I think [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] sounds the best with your first name contenders. So I voted [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]!

Loving [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] or [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] itself has the classic feel and right number of syllables to balance your three possibilities. [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is too elaborate and the shorter names don’t quite hold up next to the strong and long first names. Good luck!

I like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] with all of your choices. It pairs well with [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] in her sister’s name, plus it’s classic but known. My second choice would be [name_f]Margot[/name_f].

Also, sidenote, but I am happy to see [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] on your list! It’s a family name for me, but all the non-name nerds I tell it to looks at me like I have two heads when I mention that name. It’s gorgeous and rare!
