I’ve never heard [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] before, lovely though! [name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce it? (before I vote :slight_smile: )

I voted for [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] [name_m]Maximus[/name_m]. While the other choices are lovely this just felt the most distinguished to me.

Chose [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]… I am liking the 3 syllable middle names with [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u]… have you considered… [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]? I like the sound of it :slight_smile:

I like [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]. [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] is really unique!

I’d say [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] or [name_m]Julian[/name_m]. Hard to decide!
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] brings out the woodenness in [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u]. I think of [name_m]Woody[/name_m] [name_u]Guthrie[/name_u] when I hear [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]. “This [name_m]Land[/name_m] is Your [name_m]Land[/name_m]” etc.
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] brings out the leafiness of [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u], the soft spacious gentle quality.

[name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] [name_m]Maximus[/name_m] is kind of like saying “big tree.” A bit literal imo.
[name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]… [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] is too square next to S, unless it has special family significance, in which case yes.
[name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] [name_m]Damian[/name_m] - [name_m]Damian[/name_m] is such a Goth name to my ears, probably because it’s close to “demon.” With [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u], I’d assume the parents were [name_u]Ren[/name_u]-Fair types.

Haha, @ emmabobemma, I’m totallt both a renfaire geek and pretty goth, so I guess my choice there makes sense.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] for the middle, but hubby doesn’t really like it very much and also if I had a second son I might want to name him [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], hence the other options.

Tough decision!
