Which middle name is better for the first name Clara? Last name is two syllables ending in -er. Worth noting that Edith is my grandmother’s name, but we aren’t set on using it. We are in the US as well, where the common pronunciation of Clara is “CLAIR-uh.”

clara alice sounds better to my ear but I prefer clara edith since I’m a sucker for honors !!!
