[name]Hi[/name], [name]Tara[/name]!

I do think that it’s great to honor her with [name]Quinlan[/name] as a middle, but to be honest, I prefer the flow of [name]Alec[/name] [name]Ronan[/name] because [name]Alec[/name] and [name]Quinlan[/name] have a lot of the K sound together…

Good luck!

[name]Just[/name] going off flow alone I would go with [name]Alec[/name] [name]Ronan[/name].
But I like the meaning that [name]Quinlan[/name] has and I think it would be nice to use a name with an actual meaning, as opposed to one you just liked the flow of.
Plus if you go with [name]Alec[/name] [name]Quinlan[/name] you could save [name]Ronan[/name] for a future son. [name]Just[/name] a thought.

Hey cecily!

You’re right! I didn’t noticed how the “c” in [name]Alec[/name] and the “q” in [name]Quinlan[/name] kind run together. So glad you mentioned that.
I think I prefer [name]Ronan[/name] as well. I just know she would be honored if we used her name especially since she has no kids of her own, of course.

Thanks so much for your reply

[name]Ronan[/name] has no real “meaning” for us…I do like that [name]Ronan[/name] is the name of several Irish saints and I just think the name sounds kinda bad-ass  Also, I do prefer [name]Ronan[/name] with [name]Alec[/name].

I was just thinking that using her name would be a great way to show her how she means to us. Also, I like that [name]Quinlan[/name] means “fit, strong”. I’m just not sure I love the combo.
I’ll think it over. I appreciate your reply!

[name]Tara[/name]

I can’t vote, because based on sound alone, I like [name]Ronan[/name] as the middle name. But I think meaning is far more important with a middle name. You sound like you’d really like to use [name]Quinlan[/name], and I think that [name]Alec[/name] [name]Quinlan[/name], certainly is quite unique and doesn’t sound bad at all, just now quite as good as [name]Alec[/name] [name]Ronan[/name] to me. Honestly, people very rarely use their full name anyway, so I think having an important connection with the middle name is better than a nice flow. Either would be great, but think about how pleased [name]Sister[/name] would be if you named him for her.
