My favourite is [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f], especially if you say jor-jay-nah, but the jor-jee-ah-nah pronunciation would be beautiful too. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] seems a bit plain with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], not quite a vintage/classic combo. I love [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] but don’t like the flow with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f].
By the way- do you say [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] as am-uh-lee, or ah-may-lee? Personally I prefer the [name_m]French[/name_m] way, with the é to make the pronunciation clear.
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] is my favorite, just because I prefer [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] to [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. But all of them are good.
I say it as [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-may-lee, but using the é doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, since it’s near impossible to type, unless you have a [name_m]French[/name_m] keyboard (my laptop (and most Canadian ones) do), and it would never appear on legal documents in other countries ![]()
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] is beautiful, my favorite is [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
With the ah-[name_f]MAY[/name_f]-lee pn I like it with [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f].
But the AM-eh-lee pn I like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] has been on my list before as a fully honoring combo, so that’s probably why.
All three flow well and sound pleasing. My favorite is [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
I think I’m going to go with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. As much as I love [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] does honour family for me, so I feel the most drawn to it now, I think.
I think I’ll keep [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] as a middle for [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
